An otherwise healthy 25-year-old Nevada man is the first American confirmed
to have caught COVID-19 twice, with the second infection worse than the first.

He has recovered, but his case raises questions about how long people are protected
after being infected with the coronavirus that causes the disease, and potentially
how protective a vaccine might be.

Respiratory infections like COVID-19 don't provide lifelong immunity like a measles
infection. So, Dr. Paul Offit, an infectious disease expert at Children's Hospital of
Philadelphia, said he's not at all surprised people could get infected twice with
the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2.

A third of U.S. states are reporting higher coronavirus case counts
than they've ever had before.

A USA TODAY analysis of Johns Hopkins data shows 16 states set records
for new cases in a week. But nearly all states are surging: 41 states had
worse weeks than they did a week earlier. And an analysis of COVID
Tracking Project data shows that in 36 states, a higher rate of people
were testing positive than in the week before.

Johnson & Johnson as well as Eli Lily have temporarily halted their clinical covid trials due to potential safety concerns. 

Although disappointing news, it's typical during the developmental period of a vaccine.

We are lucky they came clean with the issues rather than keeping the American public in the dark. 

YouTube bans Covid-19 misinformation videos

YouTube on Wednesday said it would take down videos
that include misinformation about Covid-19 vaccines.

The company noted it's already taken action on other types of coronavirus-related
misinformation, such as content that disputes the existence of the virus.
The company said it's removed over 200,000 videos containing dangerous or
misleading information about Covid-19 since February.

YouTube's announcement comes a day after Facebook said it would no longer allow
ads that discourage people from getting vaccinated.

The idea that the public can infect its way out of the COVID-19 pandemic is
"a dangerous fallacy unsupported by the scientific evidence,"
80 researchers said Wednesday in a letter published in the Lancet.

Dr. Tony Fauci calls "herd immunity" against Covi-19 is "nonsense" and "dangerous" 

“Quite frankly that is nonsense, and anybody who knows anything about epidemiology will tell you that that is nonsense and very dangerous,” Fauci told Yahoo! News.

So, the decision has to come as which one you will trust? Dr. Tony Fauci or "herd mentality"?

Now finally someone out of the WH inner circle gets CDC guidance. Hats off to Mr. Christie on his sensible remark onto the Covid-19 pandemic mitigation.

Big global study finds remdesivir
doesn't help Covid-19 patients

In a study it described as both conclusive and disappointing, the
World Health Organization said the antiviral drug remdesivir has
"little or no effect on mortality" for patients hospitalized with
coronavirus and it doesn't seem to help patients recover any faster, either.

Don't be ridiculous. Only now are we starting to learn more about this virus & the after effects like brain fogginess, brain lesions, shortness of breath, fatigue etc.

Stop downplaying the serious nature of this virus because there are too many morons that will agree with you & put others in jeopardy.
