Deadly White nationalists rally in Charlottesville Virginia

Right-wing blogger Jason Kessler had planned what he called a "pro-white" rally to protest Charlottesville's decision to remove a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from a city park.

The gathering of white nationalists in Virginia took a deadly turn when a car ploughed into a group of rival protesters and killed at least one person.


Heather Heyer, 32, was fatally injured after being mowed down in Charlottesville, Virginia by a vehicle driven by  20 year old James Alex Fields Jr. 19 others were injured


The car ploughed into the crowd two hours after police shut down the rally before it could even begin in a Charlottesville park.


Two members of the Virginia State Police, who were helping law enforcement, died when their helicopter crashed near a golf course in Charlottesville and burst into flames.

Why can't they have there day of freedom of speech and to assemble....That's the problem in this country 2 day ......No one cares to listen to any point of view but there own!

Former group leader David Duke invokes Trump's name.

"This represents a turning point for the people of this country. We are determined to take our country back, we're going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump, and that's what we believed in, that's why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he's going to take our country back and that's what we gotta do," Duke said. 


when Trump was asked on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday If he condemns the praises of former group leader David Duke, Trump declined to disavow Duke's comments.

On Memorial Day 1927, brawls erupted in New York led by sympathizers of the Italian fascist movement and the Ku Klux Klan. In the fascist brawl, which took place in the Bronx, two Italian men were killed by anti-fascists. In Queens, 1,000 white-robed Klansmen marched through the Jamaica neighborhood, eventually spurring an all-out brawl in which seven men were arrested.

One of those arrested was Fred Trump (Donald Trump's father) of 175-24 Devonshire Rd. in Jamaica.

The protest was organized by a local white supremacist, Jason Kessler.
group joined the protest. "Unite the Right" protesters gathered in downtown Charlottesville with weapons, Confederate flags, and Nazi paraphernalia. 
There were more anti-protesters than "Unite the Right" protesters.

Rally was scheduled for 5 hours. it lasted only 15 minutes 
The alleged driver, James Alex Fields Jr., a 20-year-old who travelled to Virginia from Ohio and plowed a car into a crowd of protesters, was photographed with a group of white supremacists hours before Saturday’s bloody crash.

Anyone else find it ironic that this nutbag that plowed into the crowd of people was driving a "Black Challenger"?

Anyways, I'm sure it's been brought up before, but it bears repeating. Why (let alone put up in the first place) in 2017 are there still confederate statues and rebel flags in state run institutions? Taking even the "slavery" connotation out of it, these weren't "Americans", and they were fighting against what America stands for. At one point we were under British rule, should we erect a King George III statue at city hall? 
And F@(K anyone saying it's their "heritage" - no it's not. You're an American, so you should adapt to American laws and values (This goes for everyone BTW). The N@zi party is part of Germany's "heritage", but I seriously doubt there's a Hitler statue in the middle of a park.....

Face it, the Confederacy lost. Now, if you want to paint a rebel flag on top of your orange car and call it the "General Lee" (An "Orange Charger") that's your right to do so, because you're an American. Thank you.

I listened to Mike Savage and his call in guests who were at this Rally last night draw another picture of how this unfolded and have not seen or read this SOROS involvement anywhere?

Soros was painted as the Colored Duke if his lynch mob does exist! All of this is a what side you on.

Me....  I'm Trump, who has tried to right the ship but has too many Life-Time politicians wanting to continue to help themselves and contributors. Not the average white and/or black voter. 

We all know how we can Drain The Swamp and help make it easier for our President to take America back to where we hoped to go when WE elected him POTUS.

Another story is the Chief of Police should be investigated for steering this rally on the path it took? Only report on this was on Mike Savage? 

I can see why most Americans just go about their day get a paycheck and go home to watch TV, not the news. Each station is reporting a different look at one topic? So....... without money and living paycheck to paycheck why bother?

We the People have no say until election....... I'll stay with my choice for POTUS and watch his promises happen. Opposite of my previous choice who Mis-lead the public with the Swamp.

Gimme, it would've been been more of a story if it was an orange Challenger with a confederate flag painted on the top. The lady and I been joking all week about how they're going to dub over "General Lee" with "Car". "Nobody can outrun the Duke boys when they're driving the 'car'!" "Now, Roscoe, I want you to sneak over to the Duke farm and steal the 'car', ya hear?"

When the new Challengers came out I flirted with the idea of getting one and painting it like the General Lee. The idea isn't off of the table.

No need to dub over the old shows, just tell everyone they're saying "Generally".....

City of Baltimore just took down four Confederate statues two days ago, including gen. robert e. lee,  in a swift fashion. Baltimore City mayor was on MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell "Last Word".

Naw, Dub, i'm a Chevy guy anyway. Mopars, both classic and the new sh*t, have started to grow on me but any outside chance of me doing up a general lee went out of the window when a white supremacist used a challenger to kill someone. As far as Buffalo goes. I don't anticipate ever being in B'lo anyway. If I was, i'd probably be in a rental car. Who drives cross-country, in a muscle car, to Buffalo? No offense to you or your city. And if by some crazy confluence of events I found myself in Buffalo, in a General Lee, cats "not playing" wouldn't worry me. Again, no offense.
