Just trying to keep the record straight and correct the obvious misinformation from the MAGA trolls, because there is a lot of it going around by the MAGA trolls lately.

United nations doesn't recognize US south border as a crisis.  It is among the most secure in the world with extensive barriers and thousands of patrol officers.  Most migrants are turned away, but some are allowed to legally enter through official ports of entry.  So no real invasion at south border.    Past lawsuits by states alleging federal government failure to control migration based on violation of protection against invasion have been dismissed by courts.  Under the law, migrants have rights such as filing for refugee claim.  But MAGA republicans want to stop legal and illegal immigration.

I believe DeSantis will be reelected.

However, he's being destroyed tonight in his debate with flip flopping Charlie Crist. 

Crist questioned DeSantis. He said "Ron, will you serve a full 4 year term? Yes or no?"

DeSantis stood there like a Macy's mannequin never answering the question & looking very uncomfortable. He looks like a hateful empty suit on stage.

Anti-education GOP is the party of censorship and book bans.  In debate, whitewashing DeSantis said that children shouldn't be taught that US is build on stolen land.  In fact, european settlers violently seized land from indigenous people who lived in North America for centuries.  The truth isn't always pleasant but learning the truth may help prevent future atrocities and create a more inclusive society.  In Canada, there is progress toward reconciliation.  In Germany, holocaust education is required.   Generally, politicians and lawyers are the most dishonest people.  But teachers and judges should be the most honest.

Florida judge blocks DeSantis "stop woke" act, calling it dystopian for violating first amendment rights of students and teachers.  Education is necessary for a healthy democracy.

POS I assume is Dumpy Trumpy.... I would be surprised if it got that far.  I don't know if Ronnie will even bother with running vs. Trump.  The writing is already on the wall for Trump, if he gets GOP nomination then we'll have another shit show on our hands.  Who knows who the DNC will run out vs. him but we won't be seeing another Trump/Biden call.  Now if the momentum doesn't swing Trump's way, which initial indications are it is NOT going his way, then pressure will mount for DeSantis to run.  DeSantis has nothing to lose by staying Governor in the great state of Florida.  Trump will be a 3x loser if he runs 2024.  Lost 2020, his people lost 2022 mids, and 2024 will be the same.  Lots of time for lots of fireworks between now and then.
