Wow, so much going on in the last week! Perhaps the biggest red flag is that the PLAINTIFF is moving for summary judgment (never happens) because here Fox has already admitted that what it said was false, it just disputes the actual malice standard. Why would Dominion make such a bold move? Well they have all the TEXTS AND EMAILS that prove FOX ADMITTEDLY LIED TO THEIR OWN RUBES I MEAN LOYAL AUDIENCE MEMBERS.
But if Fox loses without a trial on the merits (ie if they lose on summary judgment) the Corp may sue its own producers and talent as it is a publicly held company. FAUCKS owes a duty to its shareholders. So, if blatantly lying arseholes like Fraud Hannity, F*cker Carlson, or Liar Ingraham and their evil producers lied and led Fox to a billion dollar damages award, well they can be held personally liable toward the corporation.

Yes indeed, Tucker Carlson famously asked Hunter Biden to write a recommendation letter for his oldest son. The two were neighbors and on good terms until Tucker thought he could get ratings by bashing his old neighbor.

Delusional to deny reality of 2020 election results. Years later, still no evidence of stolen election as Trump claims despite multiple lawsuits and audits. No way Trump should be president after losing popular vote two consecutive times. Courts have determined that voter suppression is a far greater problem than very rare voting fraud. Limiting voting to just one day would disenfranchise millions of eligible voters and threaten democracy. So voting should be made easier instead of harder.

Klink... states admitted to violating their own election laws... using covid as an excuse to do so.. in their states constitutions there were provisions and protocols put in place for situations like that there ignored any never used. Social media admitted to receiving money from our own governmental agencies to protect the biden cartel, hide the truth about covid and their shady business dealings and through algorithms peruade voters to think a certain way. Billionaires don't like losing billions regardless of how much cash they have, which is one of the reasons why Murdoch is in this mess in the first place. He was afraid of telling the truth to his viewers, which would lose him money. I'm not sure Dominion wants to settle. I am pretty sure the reason they brought this lawsuit forward was to destroy Fox for their lies, not for cash. I guess we will see. I didn't realize Dominion was suing for only 1.6 billion. They should have originally sued for $10 billion.

Dominion should up the asking price by a few billion in negotiations or just refuse to negotiate and force the trial. Settling is not only up to Fox News, Dominion has to be willing to as well. Hopefully, they won't and this goes to trial.Everybody has a price. I think Dominion will settle if the price is right. As tight as I've heard he is with his money, I still believe Murdoch would pay the full 1.6 billion or more to see this distraction go away. Hell, he can probably find that much by looking under his couch cushions. He'll just mark it up as the price of doing business. It won't change anything, sadly. I hope you're right and I'm wrong about this case and we see it go to court. But Dominion's lawyers have already subpoenaed a who's who of republican show dogs to the party, including Rupert Murdoch himself. Hard for me to believe a 90 year old billionaire wants anything to do with that circus. Yeah I understand that Fox certainly does not want this going to trial. Billionaires don't like losing billions regardless of how much cash they have, which is one of the reasons why Murdoch is in this mess in the first place. He was afraid of telling the truth to his viewers, which would lose him money. I'm not sure Dominion wants to settle. I am pretty sure the reason they brought this lawsuit forward was to destroy Fox for their lies, not for cash. I guess we will see. Dominion should say we will settle for $20 billion, which Murdoch does not have. Name a number he cannot afford. Say the price is going up or we are going to trial. I didn't realize Dominion was suing for only 1.6 billion. They should have originally sued for $10 billion.
