Weak reason to believe carbon dioxide cannot cause warming because rise in carbon dioxide lags rise in temperature. In fact, 90% of warming occurs after increase in carbon dioxide in greenhouse effect. Best estimate of human contribution to modern warming is 100% according to United nations IPCC. Since 1850, almost all warming can be explained by greenhouse gas emissions or human activities. Current level of carbon dioxide in atmosphere is the highest in over 800,000 years.

Bottom line fact.

Unable to deny scientific consensus on man-made global warming, climate change skeptics turn to delay or obstruction of climate action. They push for more research as though science of climate change isn't settled. They claim no agreement among scientific community about global warming. They claim reducing carbon emissions would weaken US against other countries. They claim reducing emissions would run against current way of life. They claim nothing can be done about climate change. However climate inaction is dangerous. Deloitte research reveals climate inaction could cost world economy $176 trillion by 2070.

Durgan in south dakota has made oil carbon neutral by pumping co2 directly into the void and pushing oil up filling it with co2 .
Hence making it an engineered solution .
This technology is real and really done in North Dakota but we can't even mention why it's needed because it is about climate change and the need to reduce carbon dioxide by pushing into the vaulting away from the atmosphere...
The Maga idiots don't believe in science. Just the traitor and his cause the legal defense of a traitors actions.

I got rid of my gas stove and assorted all of my athletic socks according to color and whether they had a hole where my toenail cut through it or not so things should be getting better soon

Not just Antarctic ice but in the Artic as well!!

Really? The earth is over 4 billion years old. In that time, the Grand Canyon has been under water eight times. I'd call that a lot of "natural variability".
What else is "the highest in over 800k years"? The population of the earth, by both humans & animals. Of course Co2 is gonna be higher now. The elephant in the room is over-population. No one wants to talk about that, but humans are like locusts.......we reproduce & strip the earth of resources to provide for our ever-growing population, which in turn causes higher emissions. How come that subject is so taboo?
I agree with emissions control. But it's gotten to be nonsensical. Why would the USA, a country whose main land mass is twice the size of India but is inhabited by a billion fewer people, need to bankrupt themselves to prove a debatable point? Once that happens, who will take over & do a better job than we have already.......China? India?
Address the elephant.....

Sooner or later somebody’s gonna build the Noah’s Ark Spaceship and get the important shit to another planet so we can resume living because here it’s gonna get messy ….

It is going to be fine. Many improvements have been made over the years. Saw a guy talking about the invention of catalytic converter and the reduction in LA smog etc. the other day. We are very innovative folks and there is always another ‘disaster’ right around the corner to avert.

Just heard that it's taking 21 days for a ship to get through the Panama Canal due to drought in the area. The lake that feeds the canal is at a 4 year low.
There are 150 ships in line waiting to come through the canal.

Yes saw they cutting crossings down from 36 a day to 32 a day.
A very unique engineering feat. I always tell folks if they get a chance to take a trip through there to do it.

Natural variability refers only to current warming. Unlike the past, current warming cannot be explained by sun, volcano, orbit or natural cycle. Unnatural for changes to occur in decades instead of thousands of years. Scientists conclude only man-made greenhouse effect can explain abnormal warming.
Climate change isn't caused by overpopulation bur rather consumption and production choices in the burning of fossil fuels. Richest 10% of world population contributes 50% of carbon emissions. Historically, US and Europe are responsible for over 50% of cumulative emissions. Rich countries have outsourced carbon intensive industries to other countries. Although China manufacturing is a big polluter, it also produces the most renewable energy and lower emissions per capita than many countries.
Economists estimate the costs of not tackling climate change are much higher than the costs of taking action. Total cost to global economy could be under 1% of GDP by mid century.

@Raiders22 @UNIMAN Got to see the locks working at Saulte St Marie & was amazed. Almost like, wait how did they do that. And these ships have marginal space to pilot their ship into the locks.
I need to get up there some day.
Years ago on a duck hunting trip I stayed on the West side of the St Mary's River about 30 miles south of the Locks. Freighters would come by and our cabin would vibrate. Wake you up in the night. The river flow would change direction as they passed. It was a site to see.

The enviroment does not care about "per capita" only humans do. China, India, and all developing countries strive for life we here have made for ourselves. Two coal fired power plants online a week prove just that.

And welcome Washington and Oregon University to the Big Ten. Big money to be made and more carbon to spew into the air! Baseball, soccer, lacross, basketball, swimming, football, you name it all flying across country. Along with UCLA and USC imagine the carbon footprint this move has made.
But remember, Code Red , get rid of that gas powered lawn mower and chainsaw. Don't be surprised if activists slash your big SUV tires or glue themselves to your motorhome.
