See the problem isnt what his underlying message is alone, but lets address his cleared out underlying comment. How can Trump make a negative comment regarding this topic to anyone? He did not serve and avoided Vietnam due to some BS bone spurs and his fathers fat wallet. When you are blaringly deficient in an area it is a wise decision to not find fault with others who have done more than you, or really any others at all. Cheney has served longer in the government and has a decent ammt of foreign affairs experience more than Trump ever has so why the need to insert yourself at all? Was there anything positive about his comments, any need or purpose to them? Trump is so lacking in self worth and ego that he must insert himself into any and everything, thus the drunk uncle comparison.
When you force yourself into bad positions regularly the results will impact how others see you and there are negative consequences in attacking others, degrading others, shooting off the hip and saying whatever floats into your head. Trump is slipping mentally, his cognitive comprehension and lack of filters now even compared to four years ago is blaringly obvious. The last trip he did plenty of abusing and attacking but he had more of a filter than he does now, the guy is losing it. He is also slurring more and seems dazed and confused, hunting for what he thinks he needs to say. He seems like he is taking zippy pills to stay aware but like the days of caffeine madness in college for me it has negative consequences, he really seems off the deep end and it will continue to get worse.
The positive in his comments is that we need to stop waging pointless wars simply to bolster the military industrial complex. So now, accordingly to you, only those who fought in wars can have opinions on them? Liz Cheney spent 6 years as a representative, from Wyoming. So let's please stop acting like she's some politicy expert. Trump spent 4 years as POTUS. She's a warhawk child of one of the biggest warhawks in history. We need more politicians with the balls to say, "Gee, maybe we don't have to engage in endless, pointless wars."
As far as Trump's cognitive decline, sure, i'll give you that. He can't express himself clearly. It doesn't invalidate his point. War costs American lives and tax payer dollars, and most of them solve nothing.

Actually yes...Trump should stop himself from commenting on any and ever thing possible. If the sole purpose is to put someone down or retort someone you are upset with then the purpose is not deserving of making the comment. I dont care what the underlying purpose MIGHT be, he didnt deliver any underlying purpose so the TNC back peddling about him saying we are not needing to be in wars, well he didnt say that and he didnt need to INSULT in saying that. The more educated, mature, respectful response MIGHT be to say that Cheney has an approach to this situation which is different than the TNC and the public in general and then clarify what that is and how a different approach is better for the country. Be diplomatic, be respectful, be aware, give intelligent remarks and show a sense of class in how you respond to others and especially those you are in conflict with.
If Trump needs an army of PR doods to explain what he meant every single day due to his slipping abilities and lack of filter, that for sure is not the kind of person we need in office and especially one who has a history of insults and negativity on his BEST day.
As a country we need an age limit for this just as there is an age min there needs to be say a 75 yr age max, Trump is a bumbling reckless fool.
What recent politician, presidential candidate, speaks like that? Does Kamala? Did Biden? Why hold Trump up to some standard other candidates fall short of.

Of course she does. This is nothing new. This is not something she just started doing during this campaign season either.
There are many compilations of her doing it online from years past, as well as this year.
She simply is not a good speaker and can only read a prepared and practiced script.
She cannot do a freestyle-type speech.
She cannot do a good interview about pertinent topics, simply because she doe not have a grasp of the issues.
That is the main reason she comes off sounding so ignorant on the subjects she is asked about.
It is also the reason for her constant nervous laughter and nodding her head and saying 'Right?'.
She simply is very unsure of herself and lacks confidence.
These are not the signs of a good leader and would get little respect from people around her, and especially not from other World leaders.
As much as the USA says they want a female President, they could have picked many better ones to run.
This 'selection' instead of a 'nomination' will only add to the lack of respect if she get elected and falters.
This is the exact reason(s) she was the first one knocked out the last time.
The Democrats had so many more viable and worthy candidates to run.
Harris would not be in the top 5 if it had been an open primary.

Experts are saying this much, and they also say that no amount of persuasion will make any difference now. Everything now depends on turnout.
Harris was advised to drop the term "fascist" by an advisory team in her election campaign because it wasn't "cutting into" (resonating) with voters--seems the term "fascism" doesn't has much meaning for many Americans. I didn't like the term either, but that is over anyways for now. So credit to Team Kamala for adjusting.
I don't like Trump calling Kamala Harris "stupid." Then he adds "Hillary Clinton was smarter...she was a smart person actually....but Hillary was a horrible human being...." Is Trump the opposite of "horrible" (pronounced in a Queen's accent "harribul")?
I get it--he rose to fame by using this heated style on Jeb Bush in the Republican primaries (2015), but this style needed to be dropped when facing normal voters in the general(one would assume), and Trump has not shown any ability to adapt....It isn't funny, and it eradicates decency from the election, which is already questioned by so many.
Persuasion not based on facts isn't democracy, it's brainwashing.
Turnout would be extremely low without mail in voting, same day registration, ID verification....and this is why Americans vote so differently than the rest of the world. Turnout is already low, but would be embarrasingly low without eased restrictions, etc. And I see both sides claiming brainwashing on media channels, which is a form of rigging, or not voting based on policies, etc. So if people claim there is biased information (rigging) and brainwashing, and then you add in the unique ways of voting that are open to claims of fraud, the US election is simply not a great example for other nations to follow.
Taiwan or also Singapore is more of an example to follow. All ballots are paper, and voting is in person. Counting is done by hand, and in front of witnesses and cameras. This is a model to follow.
The US cannot do this system due to a huge dropoff in participation. So I expect claims of fraud regardless of who wins.....and the winner will be decided by turnout efforts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Most Americans apparently feel their vote "doesn't matter." I think they would feel differently if they were voting for the heads of federal bureacricies that do impact their lives (like head of the FBI, the IRS, Soc Sec, Health and Human Serv, etc, etc), but that's a different story.
This election has all the bad ingredients for a very heated, contested finale. Both sides threatening again , in one way or the other, to jail their opponents (Trump threatening 2020 election officials, etc, etc). The fear mongering and lack of respect will ignite the other side that has lost. All this circus after billions spent on advertising....Can't believe the leader of the free world is decided by the work of a handful of "get out the vote" groups in 3-5 states, due to this archaic Electoral College....Is this a way to do a "fair and free" democratic election?
The rest of the world is pausing their activities to watch a peaceful transfer of power from a free and fair election. This helps the US maintain "soft powers" in the world, be a standard bearer, etc, etc. so let's see what happens on Tuesday, and more importantly, what happens on Jan 6 (certification) and Jan 20.
