I even gave you a precedent of Nixon's situation.....please go read up in the history books on how President Ford pardoned Nixon for crimes PRIOR to being convicted of any crime. That was my point. I wrote it clearly and without opinion, just a statement of legal fact. I'm not sure how you got that confused with your reasons for insulting me for stating simple facts.
Presidential pardons apply at any stage of the legal system. Arrest, charge, verdict, etc. A pardon can be made at any time. Trump could have pardoned these people while he had the power in office. He chose not too. This is a fact that cannot be argued.

Ford's broad federal pardon of former president Richard M. A simple search with the note on Nixon I provided for you would have saved you the time and brain power of responding to me and now embarrassing yourself with such a ignorant statement. I'm glad you sure opened my eyes on this, thank you.
