This is where you Dems get this argument wrong, particularly on the immigrant ,...er illegal alien discussion.  No one is looking to infringe on anybody's "Human Rights."  But we do have a problem with illegals when think they have "Citizen Rights" like the rest of us.  You get to enter our country "on our terms"..... At least that's how it "should" be , and any other country in world operates in this fashion. 

And how is that "war on poverty" working out for you when it comes to solving homelessness.  That battle was declared dead years ago, thank you Lyndon Johnson ,  but you Dems always think throwing $$$ at the problem will solve it.  Not so !!  How many different forms of "wealth re-distribution" will Dems seek to consider ?  It is endless... 

Really ??   What a shocking comment...    Who is on the side of "defund the police," making our communities less safe and crime, murder skyrocketing in our cities.  You mean "That" Law and Order.   That's right.  It's the Dems time and time again that are on the side of the perps.

And your comment looks even more foolish when your party has destroyed any semblance of Law & Order on our southern border.  BTW, it's long overdue that Mayorkas has not been impeached.  How can you even defend all  this ???

 Final point on the "law and order."  Keep in mind there were numerous people that , at worst, trespassed the Halls of Congress on Jan.6th.  Should these people have been denied bail, and kept in solitary confinement ?  Pretty ludicrous if you ask me... And for those instigators that engaged in physical, violent acts... sure, prosecute them as you would ANTIFA activists at a riot in Portland...  But you and I both know we have two justice systems in this country..

 As usual I am not sure what you are trying to say outside of taking the weekly shot at me as you always do. So again I will repeat the same thing because in reality that is all to consider- If there is a rules violation then report that violation, outside that it is not the business of any member to conclude what is fair and what is not. Nobody knows the decisions made, the count of who is boxed and banned and why, it is not your concern or his concern or anyone elses concern. 

Instead of hen pecking all the unfairness and injustices, be better than the people you complain about, be above retaliation, insults and negative replies, just avoid bad situations and stop replying when it will not make anything better. If there are legitimate complaints where one member is breaking the rules and abusing another member, report it or send a PM and then stay out of the way while that is considered BUT keep in mind that as mentioned this area is the most difficult to monitor because of the nature of politics, we allow more here than anywhere on the site but the penalty box so many issues are considered when anyone sends a report or a message, especially if the person sending the request has issues and causes or participates in the problem or has a history of doing so.

Not much else to say as always, and I suggest rather than piling on just follow that counsel and have considerate, respectful discussion here.

Yes.  You can call it a shot at you if you like.  You were the one that used the words and you always get upset at the ones on the Right that use similar terms.  Not me, because I do not use them.  But I certainly have noticed you do it with others.

But it is your forum and you should be able to run it how you like.  There are many other political forums they can go to if they do not like it.  Not a big deal once the folks know this.  Then they can abide by the standards that apply to them is all.

I have never said anything about this before because it does not bother me.  I am just saying @Uniman was pointing this part out.  I did not take him to be whining or complaining or seeing a rules violation.

 I appreciate the difficulty of the job you do and you do give folks a lot of latitude on here.  I have seen you box some on the Left.  My perception is that you are quicker on the trigger for the Right is all.  Of course, it is difficult to do this.  I do not see you warning or reprimanding nearly as much as you could.

So, this is NOT my complaint.  I think your task is difficult for sure.

I am saying ONLY the ones on the Right seem to feel this way.  So, maybe consider what they have concerns about.

 Of course it is right vs left for you and most of the right group you associate with. It isnt about right vs left it is about site rules, interaction and how members handle themselves when there is a difference of opinion or when there isnt, The people who get boxed break the rules and are unable to respect the other party. 

You are correct about perspective, no member has access to all the posts and reports and history but Ive laid out many times what the reasoning is and the dynamic on why you see certain patterns. Politics will generate differing opinions and that is ok but what isnt ok is making personal digs, insults, crude comments and abusive tone. The rules of the site are all we care about and it doesnt matter if you feel the right is more picked on than the left because your bias and lack of information would guarantee this would be the case. You cant be impartial, you never are and that is unfortunate. 

It is Right vs Left from your side as well; otherwise, there would not be a discussion about anything political.  

What EXACT site rules do you keep talking about? 

You keep reprimanding the folks but I never see you cite the exact 'rule' you say they are breaking?  Where is that/those rule(s) posted that you think might have been broken?

In this instance you ask the guy if he felt like a rule was violated to report it.  He never said a rule was broken.  What rule did you think he was implying was broken?

Because it would have been you that broke it -- he was quoting you.

It is NOT about the potential breaking of 'rules'.  You are purposely making it out to be that -- it is NOT that.  It is about your perceived double standard while enforcing 'rules' or reprimanding folks.

Again, this has never been my complaint.  But how do you not see what the folks are always complaining about.  It cannot always be them -- at some point it has to be you and a legitimate concern that they have.

It is NOT my job to be impartial.  It is my option to debate what I want from MY perspective.  I do not police the forum -- you do.  If someone is going to sway me, they have to do it with more than harsh words; I need data and evidence.

 Of course you and "they" which means the right side group agree and feel that way, I addressed that 100% already multiple times. You and "they" do not see everything and when others do get treated the same from the other group it is dismissed or minimized or ignored but that also is par for the course on partisan glasses.

It gets tiring saying the same thing over and over but you are not wanting to understand the underlying principal about rules and their need and when they are not needed. I keep saying we enforce the rules and that is a fact, so I keep saying if someone breaks the rules then report it...that is a fact. You keep saying the same response that there isnt a rule broken, well ok what do I keep saying about that? Ive said this so many times but you are partisan and do not understand how to deal with the other side who is annoying you but NOT breaking the rules. Go back and read my numerous comments on this topic its like you and your group cannot understand the concept of ignoring, steering clear of conversations that annoy you, to be above the behavior of those you think are acting poorly but not breaking the rules.

If you, "they", anyone on the site are unable to engage with others you disagree with then please stop replying to them, stop making the situation worse by engaging and turning things personal and making comments that do break the rules. Its better to move along saying nothing than to devolve the forum with digs, insults, bad comments, things that incite, provoke, annoy and serve zero purpose. There are a few members who have listened and have stopped interacting because admittedly they could not stop themselves from making insults, digs, bad comments etc...so they completely avoid it all together. That is how you and they and anyone should be. If the left annoys you with their handshakes and bumps and agreeing to each others remarks, stop going into those threads, do not reply and just move along to a thread you do like. That is completely what I keep saying and you and they seem unable to come to terms with.

If a member breaks the rules, REPORT IT...if not and you are bothered with their approach then ignore it and leave it alone, that is all there is, nothing else to say and no comment needed from you. I hope this will end the circles of discussion which are of no use, the way to deal with difficult people is be BETTER than they are, ignore things which are difficult and move to things that arent.

 Pay close attention:  I could care less about them breaking 'rules' on the Left.  If by 'rules' you are saying they use harsh words and namecalling.  That does not bother me.  The Left does this for sure more than the Right -- just read the thread titles and search through the threads to find this.

I do ignore them.  I ignore nearly all of the Leftist cheerleaders on here.  

The ones on the Left, like yourself, that try to have a reasonable discussion I will discuss things with.  The cheerleaders I ignore.

But this is NOT about me.  I have never said anything about the way you run the forum before.  It does NOT seem to be a 'we' it seems to be a 'you' -- that is why they always complain about you and not others doing it.  

I am for sure partisan, you are for sure partisan; the folks on here complaining that you are unfair are partisan.  But the ones that seem to get away with using the harsh language and constant namecalling are for sure partisan.  So what, that is NOT the issue.

The issue to the ones that say you are not enforcing the 'rules' fairly have a point -- you never cite the rules or where they can be found.  You only say they are being abusive to others, as if that covers everything.

Then you are going to reprimand someone and say that they are not adding to the forum by what they post.  Where is that a rule and where is it posted?

To say to those guys if they cannot engage with them to ignore them does not make sense.  They are engaging with them and in a very similar fashion as the other side does.  

Again, it is NOT MY complaint.  I just thought you misunderstood what @Uniman was saying.  It was simply the same thing others have said:  you police very differently for each side and you reference vague 'rules' that no one has seen posted.

One last thing about this.  I am not sure how that works if no one can find the 'rules'.  Maybe the Left are just care more about 'reporting' these than the Right does.  It would be interesting if you were to say it was reported to you that tis was a violation and exactly what it violated.

Because from the guys complaints about the way you are doing it now, it seems they think you just peruse through here and when you see something you bring it up.

I do not know that saying folks should be tattletales assuages their concerns.
