Colorado Republican Senate nominee fires back at Trump

CNN —

Joe O’Dea, the Republican nominee for US Senate from Colorado,
fired back at Donald Trump on Monday after the former President
slammed him as a “RINO” and suggested Trump’s supporters
wouldn’t vote for a “stupid” person like O’Dea.

In a statement, O’Dea didn’t walk away from the criticism
he’s been leveling at Trump, including on Sunday when he told
CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union” that he would
“actively” campaign against Trump and for other GOP 
candidates if the former President runs again.

O’Dea also told Bash that Trump should have done more to prevent the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.

By far.   Even better than Obama and Clinton, which are the only two presidents in the past 30 years that are ranked in the upper half of all US presidents.   Bush and Trump are ranked in the lower half by a wide gap and Trump is right near the bottom.

More republicans elected mean more gridlock in congress and weakening of government ability to solve problems.  Under Biden administration, US economy is among the strongest in the world.  Despite inheriting a mess from Trump, Biden legislative wins have been significant.  Infrastructure, funding for high tech manufacturing, covid relief, rescue of small businesses, gun safety, appointment of judges,  less unemployment, lower federal budget deficit, more affordable healthcare and commitment to fighting climate change.

Oprah Winfrey wisely turns against old friend doctor Oz and endorses Fetterman in election.  She helped to launch Oz television career and knows him very well.  For years, Oz has been a controversial figure for touting dangerous unproven medical treatments and misleading scientific claims.
