 Ya think it might be that Biden and most any other president wants nothing to do with an event where Trump is involved? Trump turns everything into him and that is why zero presidents want anything to do with the guy and if I am guessing it is a good chance why Biden would not want to be involved. You have no idea what Biden might have done with regards to those people aside from attending a service with the Orange Vortex there.

 Not likely, my scenario given the fact we have seen this over and over and over makes much more sense. Who would want to be at the same event of the energy life sucking Trump?  You do not see many if any people around him that are of high caliber with regard to politics and especially from the other party. It is so telling that prior to the TNC if there was a national event or incident, most all presidents crossed the aisle together to represent the office and especially in the wake of a tragedy. Since the TNC life sucking machine that has almost totally been lost. Trump only represents himself and cares little for anyone outside his posse so why would Biden want to be at ANY event that Trump would be at? 

You might consider it a badge of honor that Trump stomps all over everyone but himself but the fact of no other president who was in office can stand him is embarrassing. Even Bush and Obama, Bush and McCain, Clinton and Bush, all of these people were comfortable associating and that is likely due to the fact NONE of them were personally degrading and insulting the way your guy is. Biden for all his flaws and life long political taking is far superior to Trump with regard to respect for the office and for others. 

You gotta quit trying to elevate Trump, he degrades himself faster than you or anyone can try to elevate.

Gold Star families who lost loved ones in the botched Afghanistan withdrawal blasted Vice President Kamala Harris over her attack on former President Trump for paying his respects at Arlington National Cemetery last week.

Harris accused Trump of playing politics with the visit, but in a series of short videos, eight families said they had invited Trump, and bitterly blasted the Biden-Harris administration over the disastrous pullout that left 13 U.S. service members dead three years ago.

The Gold Star family members maintained that they had asked Trump for photographs, as opposed to Trump taking pictures to advance his campaign. In one video, the father of Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz called Harris' post "heinous, vile and disgusting."

Darren Hoover, the father of Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, said that Harris lacks "empathy and basic understanding" about Monday's event, and stressed that Trump's appearance was respectful.

In keeping with the reverence and respect that is given to all members of our military that are buried there, we invited President Trump," he said. "We are the ones that asked for the video and the pictures to be taken at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier."

Hoover also added that Trump has "been there for us from the very beginning," and criticized Harris for "playing politics" over the incident.

"You should be ashamed and embarrassed [about] your lack of empathy and decency as a human being," the father added. "You are only in this for the power and prestige. You don't care for our military or the citizens of this country.

Trump campaign dispelled any doubts about purpose of Arlington visit when its TikTok account used video from cemetery in a post.   US army gave no permission to Trump campaign and warned of law restricting photography in Arlington cemetery.  But when cemetery official tried to enforce those restrictions, she was pushed aside by Trump thugs instead of apologizing.  Vote vets group denounces Trump campaign for using sacred cemetery for a political stunt.

 How many years did Trump have to unwind the multi decade mess over there? He had four years to personally send his Trump jet over to bring home the soldiers and US citizens living there if he cared to, but did he? No of course Trump never makes the tough choices but stomps over those who do and air chair QBs everyone else when he could have led the way by his choices and example but no he did not do such things.

It is weak and pathetic to blame the guy who actually goes forward with the decision when we should have been long gone probably 20 years earlier and how many lives were lost chasing OBL over there, how many lives lost being there in the first place? The true purpose for being there was over in the 90s but we stayed there way too long in a no-win situation, then your side has the pathetic guts to blame a bad outcome built on thousands of bad outcomes and try to make this partisan?

If anything the intelligence agency should be held accountable for us being there, the military leaders for decades that rationalized our being there with lives wasted, millions and billions spent where we had no chance at making an impact or creating a good end solution for the region.

Same goes for Iraq we never should have started it, we lost thousands of lives and billions of dollars for a stupid wasted vendetta witch hunt so why not blame Biden for that disaster?

What a partisan sandwich you guys make this into when doing this is actually insulting to the lives lost there not just from a single incident or event but the decades of us being there at all.

There were TWO (2) distinct parts to the Arlington National Cemetery anniversary which trump desecrated:

1/ Laying the wreath at the tomb of the "unknown soldier"
That was fine! That IS allowed under the law! No problem there, regardless who invited trump to take photos at the tomb of the "unknown soldier"  Such ceremonies are very common!
(despite the fact that trump couldn't be bothered with the 2 previous anniversaries - but only with the one 70 days from the election)

2/ moving his charade over to sacred ground where political campaign photo-ops are absolutely FORBIDDEN by federal law - "Section 60" - (grave sites of KNOWN fallen soldiers) - regardless if the families of the fallen requested trump be there or not.
That part is 100% against the law!

A FEMALE ANC staffer tried to prevent the trump team from engaging in this illegal activity in "Section 60" but the convicted felon had his "brown shirt goons" physically shove the young lady aside (criminal assault) and proceeded to violate federal law while desecrating those hallowed grounds for a campaign photo op.

For all we know, the draft dodger might well have been thinking all those graves were of "losers" and "suckers" too, as he had done before in Europe.

It was a Trump decision and agreement to be out by May 1st. So Biden takes office and says it is extended to 9/11. (What a stupid date to pick.) Then in July he changes it to August 31st. He had given himself 4 extra months. And still it gets botched. Then it's;  We'll get those bombers! So they drone strike a father and his kids fetching water. 

Yes, we went there thinking like the idiots we are that those old world people will adopt the American Democratic Way. Sure they will accept glorifying cross-dressers and putting transvestites on beer cans. Condemning religion. They're gonna hop right on that train. Let's put books in Afghan elementary schools depicting masterbation, they'll go for that too! After all, that's the American way. No wonder Afghans didn't raise a finger when the Taliban made their move. 

And how stupid was it to watch Russia founder in Afghanistan for years and think we can do it better? What a waste.

 Not sure any of your reply has relevance to your original misguided complaint.

My singular comment was that there has NEVER been a good time to leave that area, there is no exit plan that works well and like Iraq we left the area in a terrible state because it is a terrible state and we could have stayed there another 100 years and it would be the same problem as it was from day one

Blaming the president who got stuck with the exit is erroneous, the true culprits are the intelligence groups that kept us there this long and once our singular purpose was finished (cold war) we should have dusted that place but we didnt and that is the true crime, the multiple decades and multiple presidents who did not take a stand and leave. The worst part about the whole thing is we went there for selfish purposes and put at risk the people living there, we got what we wanted and as usual we did not make the area better for those living there, just got our military purpose and did little else of benefit to the local conditions.

Why not blame Biden for how Iraq is a cesspool and why not blame Biden for how awful Iran is, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, any area of the world that is a wreck why do we not blame Biden for all and any woes as you tried to do with the LGBTQ bashing remark?
