This past week there was a two medal veteran at the beach I visited, who was shamed right in front of me for his MAG red hat. Had his grandkids with him just eating watermelon. All it took was a couple 5 minute conversations to realize that this man was ALL USA but doesn't view the either party the same as him, yet he sides with your enemy so it seems. As someone with a large family military background but myself with none I had nothing but respect for this man, did not matter to me if he was red/white/black/or blue but it is very obvious not just here but in real life matrix that even going to off grid cell area you still find people who SUCK!!

There is no victory parade exit for that region and there was not one for Iraq, so why the crap is your side taking a partisan stab at Biden when all sides failed to get the US out for over twenty years?
Was there a good way for things to end? I can tell you this the people living there, the US remnants still there it is not any different today than before since there was never a way to win from the very beginning.

I HIGHLY doubt Biden wanted to be stuck with this bag, it was a Trump gift that he couldnt avoid. No president could exit there and in truth we destroyed the region so we could win against the USSR and now for the last two plus decades we cant get out and the innocent people there have no infrastructure or hope.
I always liked the movie Charlie Wilson's war which is this exact quandry here where at the end of the show Wilson wanted funding for a school to be repaired that was destroyed during the military ops there and he was laughed out of the room...we are not interested in making things better we are interested in getting our military objective and nothing else. We destroyed Iraq, Bush put in as leadership the religious minority and now the entire country is going to kill each other and it will never improve. Biden was a lifer in politics if he wanted to do real good in the region he could have, he didnt and I am positive this was a noose around his neck that he wish he hadnt been forced into. Wasteful spending to the taxpayer is another phrase for excess profits and bonuses for Raytheon, Northrop and GE and a host full of other defense contractors.
Id rather shut down all the defense spending like Clinton did and focus on our domestic issues while running a tight fiscal ship, but that never will happen.

How about listening to those that already had a plan? He was warned about giving up a strategic air base but did it anyway. Everything Dementia Joe did had an air of spite to it. He couldn't do anything that would have looked like he "agreed" with the previous admin........like this disastrous withdrawal, & ending the "remain in Mexico" policy. I can't believe that anyone thinks his admin. was anything but a downer.....a failure......& the only reason he wasn't canned earlier was that people wanted no part of Harris taking over as CiC. You say things in such a silly partisan way it is difficult to take anything said seriously. There is and was no easy exit there or it would have been done long ago. So quit blaming the guy who got stuck with the task, a task which had no chance at success and the previous twenty plus years show this fact.

“If these psychos are going to go after our kids we’ve got to be prepared for it,” Vance said at a rally in Phoenix. “We don’t have to like the reality that we live in, but it is the reality we live in. We’ve got to deal with it.”
The Ohio senator was asked by a journalist what can be done to stop school shootings. He said further restricting access to guns, as many Democrats advocate, won’t end them, noting they happen in states with both lax and strict gun laws. He touted efforts in Congress to give schools more money for security.
“I don’t like that this is a fact of life,” Vance said. “But if you are a psycho and you want to make headlines, you realize that our schools are soft targets. And we have got to bolster security at our schools. We’ve got to bolster security so if a psycho wants to walk through the front door and kill a bunch of children they’re not able.”
Vance said he doesn't like the idea of his own kids going to a school with hardened security, “but that's increasingly the reality that we live in.”

There was nothing "partisan" about what I said. You simply look at it that way because you don't like anyone criticizing your party. At some point you have to stop being a cheerleader & admit "maybe things could've been done better". Instead, you just point at me & say "you're a bad guy because you criticize Biden". We all have our opinions, & they differ. To you, it's "anything Trump is bad....libs are good". I don't feel exactly as you do.
