I think the peak moment was your event yesterday going into three separate threads to cut/paste a blatantly partisan bite you found somewhere and that goes way beyond the goal or intention of discord or communication.

By no means was this my "peak moment".  I've had way way better performances throughout my covers career here.  I mistakenly posted the substack link, which is a paid service (my bad).  I realized after I posted a summary and link to the well respected and Pulitzer Prize winning democratic journalist, Mr. Seymour Hersh, that the first link was behind the paywall.  I corrected my mistake in my last post, linking the non-pay wall article for Covers readers to see for themselves.  The article information fell under both thread titles of the subject posted so not sure why panties needed to get all ruffled.

"antagonistic" and "combative" are not adjectives aptly used to describe someone's posting who merely shares information on both sides of the aisle.  

How YOU interpret said information, taking facts and info that are shared without commentary, as "antagonistic" and "combative" sounds like a YOU problem.  Perhaps some introspection is needed

 So you don't think the printing of trillions and "free" handouts didn't contribute to the rapid rising inflation? You think corporations that see "free" money getting printed and handed out wouldn't cause greedy corporations to raise prices, cut portions and just sit back and keep prices/share sizes the same?? 

Simple questions to you and it's a simple answer, should take less time to respond than what you've been giving. Where do YOU believe covid came from? Easy questions, easy answer.

 When your intention is to provoke that is the issue. You had no reason to go into three threads to post the same content UNLESS you are trying to stir the pot and for sure that is how you post and reply on a regular basis. Whatever turned the switch on you over the last six months it is quite clear and obvious. Trailing others to pick a fight is also not providing value or discussion.

 I dont have enough background to answer the origin and that is why over the years here and the hundreds of comments about this exact topic i dont think I have ever replied with regards to origin or intent.

It might be shocking (probably is) that if I dont have an opinion that I can either back up with information or a knowledge center I wont engage in the discussion. So while lots of you guys went back and forth about it, I dont recall ever engaging. Its like the silly talk about Biden being in a coma because we hadnt heard from him and so there is a conspiracy and all that, no comment from me I will let you guys who enjoy the dark shadows go at it...

Not sure if you are trying to corner me with that question, I am sure you have a correlative angle and I am sure where you are going with it but in this case I am not going to play that jump rope game on that topic specifically.

And yes, I do not think the T's spent did much to inflation because much of it was replacement for lost income, now as some have mentioned that the economy being bottled up meant that SUPPLY was kinked, and you can add that supply chain was kinked and input components were and still are historically expensive and THAT raised prices, that is a SUPPLY SIDE inflation, not demand side. It is why I asked the question for demand based proof and I already know the answer that the consumer based on excess casino cash from stimmy did NOT cause this inflation. I would say the intent and result of the government stimmy was to stave of RECESSION, I think that is why it got both party support and it was successful. If people did not have even a small percentage of supplement via that stimmy and if Covid dragged on long enough it would have massive ripple implications on the world economy and especially the US. So no I do not think the stimmy cash caused inflation, so you cannot blame Biden and BOTH parties (not just DEMS) for inflation...

 Nice PC answer on not answering that you believe covid came from a lab and not from a bat. Pretty sure there's scientific proof (follow the science) that covid-19 had been altered in a lab. But that's ok. If you don't want to go down that rabbit hole, you can take your best guesses on why inflation picked up, all over the world along with covid spreading all over the world. Coincidence? Maybe. 

If there is a supply side issue with materials being bottlenecked, that  means there is also a demand bottle neck. Home improvements went crazy during covid because everyone was stuck at home and they saw issues that needed to be addressed. Since everyone had time at home, and free money, a lot of that extra cash went to home improvements which put more strain on supply and demand for home improvements with materials and labor. Once the covid lock downs ended, construction was booming.

  While nobody could work, they were still able to spend. IMO, that has a huge effect on inflation along with "free" printed money. It all catches up. Remember, only the big franchises were allowed to operate and sell during lockdowns? Corporations have to keep numbers up to keep stocks up, to keep investors on board. You went to Target/Walmart and they were able to sell items that the local mom and pop store around the block could not. So when "free" money is thrown around, you better believe inflation (cough greedflation) is going to follow and it's going to rise quickly. IMO covid is 90% the cause of inflation. still want your honest answer on where you believe (believe is not fact) on where covid originated from. Some conspiracies are actually true but media does a great job at fighting the truth.

 Well I knew your angle but you should know about me long long ago I am not intimidated by people using angles, you do it all the time and I do it and others do it. You have confidence in your reply and you already had an answer to retort my response and I knew that..it isnt rocket science to know where you stand on that topic. So I was not avoiding a discussion, I just have not found great value in that conversation over the years here. I think the few times I have ever jumped in is when your side went attack mode on the poster and went extreme in being combative and nasty, well that brings me in most any discussion so there might have been a time or two I DID step in but not because I have some deep need to discuss if China intentionally started this or if Russia is behind it or whatever other nonsense Trump blabbed on about. I knew where you stood I just found that topic a bit too partisan, jaded and of little value. I know you like it because it props up your political beliefs a bit and it can place blame too, I dunno that blame pushing is just kind of boring to me I tend to step away from the partisan blame finger pointing if possible. But as you know and I said above if one side goes attack mode on another MEMBER and makes combative unnecessary content well then yup I will usually be right there to get involved.

JIT inventory models are largely used by corps because it lowers carry cost for raw materials and can be very efficient when economic conditions are stable. It costs less and means corps do not have to hold raw goods on their books and in warehouses etc as component prices tend to depreciate over time and holding costs are not what corps like. But in the situation like Covid JIT models get wrecked and fail. So when a corp gets in a supply pinch price wise and availability wise their JIT inventory model shuts down and is wrecked, that is exactly what happened during Covid. Inventories got depleted and then the whole thing got wrecked, it is getting better but the ramping of component costs was very rough on corporations trying to restore their JIT inventory levels.

Provoking people who do not wish to be provoked is not creating discussion it creates conflict and friction. There was nothing "partisan" about the article.  Go read it.  You don't like it so you are saying it is "partisan" and "combative".  Could I have created a new thread for it?  Perhaps that was the better option, I will do that next time....thank you for your guidance.

You know why you posted that in the threads you did and you admitted it so no need to back peddle and cover, it was obvious when you did it...it is obvious when you just posted the Trump message in the Harris thread about 5 minutes ago. You for some reason have decided to go on the offensive towards the other side and try and pick fights. If you are seeking discussion I can tell you that posting antagonizing replies in a partisan thread is NOT creating discussion. So instead of soft playing things just come out and own what you are doing, it is blaringly obvious. It is also obvious when you take jabs on members (me included) when you have the opportunity...your intentions and reasons for posting are telegraphed by the replies and messages YOU MAKE.

Acute and obtuse deal with angle degree and isosceles deals with side length. A triangle can be both acute and isosceles, obtuse and isosceles, and right and isosceles.
