My point about DEM vs REPUB was due to some of your pals here trying to say that the DEMS are spending money on this game and the GOP is trying to be against it and be fiscally responsible, its the same schtick as what Z is selling...one sided silliness. The GOP is the pimp of the war game so you cant try and fake act like you are against it but then be for it 100% of the time, its just a stupid premise and pathetic. My Iraq reply was again that the GOP had to SELL that story both times because the DEMS are not war gamers as a pillar of their platform, so with this game there is no SELL to make, the DEMS are for it based on humanitarian concerns and as I keep saying the outlier about spreading to other places, so the GOP trying to play the responsible and against the funding is a free spin, they do not have to SELL anything so they can try and act the part of being fiscally responsible when we all know that is NOT the case, but its a free story to tell.

The Democrats absolutely are the ones pushing the aid over there.  That is a yes and only a yes. 

The Republicans went along with it at first, except for a few hardcore ones. 

Now they are the ones that want to stop spending money over there.  That is a yes and only a yes.

Even if the GOP are the war party. That does not mean they cannot be against just spending money in a place that they have no interest in. 
For sure, they want to cut spending.  I get that.  I also get that this is extra right now and something they should be able to talk the Left out of spending money on. 
Because they are going to have a hard time getting the Left to cut spending elsewhere.  

The only party that ever wants to cut spending is the GOP.  
If you look at some of the GOP members now, they are saying they flat out do not want to vote for a bill that spends anymore money in Ukraine.  
No Democrats have done this.  This is not a free roll.  This is something that they have implied form the start of this debacle.

 My issue is that the GOP wants to cut spending in the wrong areas and are reckless in the wrong areas, so it is not cutting spending in the ways that are of highest value for the citizens of the country that need it the most. If the GOP were to cut spending by cutting funding OUTSIDE the US and that includes military and CIA dictator buying and focus on doing the most for our highest needs citizens and long term issues (like the grid, highways etc) then I would see much more value in their feeble attempts.

Since NEITHER side is really motivated for what I consider greatest value fiscal responsibility then if we are deficit spending I would rather it be for the LEAST in this country and that is via social programs...so scrap the Ratheon and Northrop Grumman cash waterfalls, stop giving money to military and defense contractors, focus on social programs and infrastructure needs.

DEMS are on board for the reasons I stated, the story Z is selling is that the Ukrainians are nice Andy Griffith characters and Russia is Alien monsters, so who would not want to protect the innocent people? I agree that the citizens of Ukraine are innocent but their leadership for sure is not.

 I understand your beef with foreign spending.  But that is a very small amount compared to wasteful domestic spending that could be cut.

What are the WRONG areas that the GOP wants to cut in and why?

What would be the RIGHT areas they should want to cut in and why?

Why do the Democrats not support any cuts in spending?

What DEMS are on board for what reasons?  They have been coming out and saying that they want to stop the funding?

These are questions that need to be answered in order for them to come to common ground.

trump's disdain for captured servicemen in combat, fallen Marines who paid the ultimate price, gold star families, many of our military leaders and even injured vets, is disgusting for anyone, but completely unacceptable from the person who at the time was Commander-in-Chief.  He should be exiled to Grizzly Bear Island smeared in the blood of a fallen vet.......
