Thehill reports  over 800 economists sign a letter urging voters to not re-elect Trump for several reasons.  First, his chaotic approach to negotiations damage relations with trading partners, interrupt supply chains and harm American farmers without reducing trade deficit.  Even USMCA has no meaninglful impact on GDP.  Secondly, he fails to achieve core promises.  Annual GDP growth hever surpass 2.9%.  Manufacturing remains a small part of US employment.   Moody analytics and Goldman Sashs found Biden's policies would create greater economic recovery. 

Third, his response to pandemic turns a crisis into a tragedy and underperforms relative to many countries.  Fourth, he undermines public trust in major public health agencies such as Food drug administration, Center for disease control and National institute of health when Americans need their guidance most.  Fifth, he is the biggest source of dangerous misinformation in a pandemic.  Sixth, he has made US less attractive for skilled and hard working immigrants.  Seventh, he has made US a less appealing place to do business by creating uncertainty and fostering a culture of corruption.

Donald Trump is a disaster!

Historians generally agree character is the most important quality in a president.  But Kelly says Trump is the most flawed person he has ever meet.  He embraces all 7 deadly sins - lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride.    According to the bible, lying is a mortal sin and the kingdom of God is not advanced by unrighteous means.   But Washingtonpost records over 22,000 false claims by Trump.  Evangelicals should never vote for anyone who deceives as often as Trump. 

Trump betrays lessons of Christianity.  He endangers the lives of Americans by politicizing mask wearing and undermining public health advice by holding large rallies in a pandemic.  In contrast, many republicans regard Biden as a decent moral man who aligns with Pope Francis commitment in the fight for social justice against poverty and inequality.  If Biden is elected, he would be the first Catholic president since John F. Kennedy.

Trump is the worst president since Andrew Johnson.  He is an enemy of facts and lies constantly.  He undermines the US by dividing Americans.  He corrupts democracy and opposes free speech.   He shows contempt for US constitution and rule of law.  He has made cruelty a sacrament.  He separates children from parents.  He abandons US allies and aligns himself with foreign dictators.  He is a threat to national security.  He encourages terrorist violence and white supremacists.  He undermines government agencies.  He weakens  health, safety, workplace, consumer and environmental protections.  He fails to protect US from a pandemic by allowing thousands of Americans to suffer or die.  Trump hasn't accomplished anything of real value as president.  Under his failed leadership, US has become sicker, poorer and weaker.

Associated press fact check debunks Trump's claim that Biden would increases taxes for most Americans.  In fact, Biden states income tax wouldn't be higher for anyone earning under $400,000.  Most Americans feel a tiny minority of taxpayers should pay more for needed improvements in infrastructure.  Also Biden proposes raising corporate tax rate which would still be among the lowest among rich nations.  Overall, tax costs pass onto households would be more than offset by Biden tax credits.

PAC Meidas ad busts the myth that Trump is a religious man.  He pretends to be on the side of god while repeatedly violating all 10 commandments.  In politico poll, catholic voters trust Biden more on the economy, jobs, healthcare, coronavirus, race relations and public safety.  He is widely respected as more virtuous than Trump.  If elected, Biden would be the first catholic president since John F. Kennedy.

And that would be, what, about 95% of the population...maybe higher?

Trump cannot win without cheating.  So he plans to steal the election by invalidating as many uncounted ballots as possible according to Washington post.  Manufacturing a election crisis may lead to mass violence.

Controversial pardons expected in Trump's remaining months.  If he pardons family or friends to protect them from prosecution for crimes, that may be a crime? Since self pardon is unconstitutional, Trump might resign so that president Pence can pardon him.  But there should be enormous public outcry and the end of Pence's political career.  No one is above the law.

I realize this doesn't matter to his supporters but the truth matters to most Americans.

Trump continues to weaken US national security.  He fires top cybersecurity official of homeland security department for rejecting his baseless voting fraud claims.  A hero who protects the votes of Americans from foreign interference to ensure the most secure election in US history.  But Trump has a bad habit of firing government officials who tell the truth.

U.S. national security is hardly of Mr. Donald J Trump's concern, that's part of the reason why he is fired by the majority of Americans on Nov. 3.

One thing however, I do not think it's possible to pardon someone who hasn't actually been charged with anything yet.

Oh he'll try, of course.

But I don't think it works even when it goes to the 6-3 republican SCOTUS, because that would then mean trump could pardon anyone AND EVERYONE and in effect give absolute immunity to all those pardon from *FUTURE* crimes they might commit.  It would give all those people carte blanche to murder at will and never be prosecuted because they were pardonned by trump 10 years earlier .... it just doesn't hold water, *UNLESS* they have been charged....then yes....But the trick then would be to hold off "charging" anyone until after trump leaves office.  Then those newly charged offenses cannot possibly have absolute immunity from a pardon beforehand.
