An AR-15 is classified as a rifle. He’ll probably be found not guilty of the misdemeanor as well. Then why is he being charged for the misdemeanor? Why did the judge refuse to drop the weapons charge? Your interpretation is dubious at best. Not surprising though because you are generally full of $hit in every post. You sound like one of Kyles attorneys. He is doing time for at least breaking the law for possessing the gun underage and bringing across state lines. Your boy isnt just walking free on everything although I know thats what your biased partisan a$$ wants.
Deezy, welcome to the cesspool....refreshing to see some actual discussion and not copy & paste regurgitation. I know a lot (most) people have not been watching the courtroom events unfold. If you have then you should realize he is going to be acquitted. I am not making a political statement. If you have watched how the prosecution has tried this case you would see that they have completely botched it through gross ineptness and have at several times been very close for grounds for a mistrial. This is not my opinion, this is what has happened in the court room. If anyone has any reason to be upset with how this is going then they should direct it at the prosecution.
If one is capable of leaving politics aside, disregarding "why" a 17 year old was out in those conditions, and seeing all the facts as both the prosecution and the defense has laid out; then you should not be surprised one bit when he is acquitted by reasons of self defense. The judge is also the one who will be handing out the sentence. While he let the gun charge stay to begin the trial, this does not mean the Judge won't drop the gun charge or even sentence him probation for it.
