Yes, I am well aware of this! That is my point... because in reality, "the wall" did not come out of Trump's mouth first! In fact, Bill Clinton was the first person to talk about building a wall at the border... and both Hillary and Obama have also proposed the same thing.
In fact, Hillary proposed almost every single detail of building a wall, including the reasons it is needed (violence, drugs and economic impacts of illegal immigration), the measures that could be taken (deportation and building a physical barrier), and who should bear the responsibility for it (the Mexican government)
AND YET... not only have I never heard the media criticize any of those people for it... I strongly suspect none of these people were up in arms about it when those people proposed it, or called any of them racists.
