Let's knock it off with this "he was a victim of bad advice and bad information crap. The last president that accepted responsibility for his administration, good or bad advice, good or bad decision, good or bad result, was BARRACK OBAMA. You are talking about President GW Bush and President Truman ..why deflect to another topic?..C'mon Key,,Your thread title is about Colin Powell as was my post...If you are going to make an attempt to answer to my post comment..Please bring your "A"game or retreat for a little while. On that February 5 in front of the U.N. Security Council,Colin Powell certain what he was saying was accurate. Later, regarding whether Iraq had reconstituted a nuclear weapons program, he said: POWELL: There is no doubt in my mind … Powell had no doubt that he was presenting the truth.. and that he was not lying to The American people and to all the Nations in the UN ? If you want to bring GW into the conversation now ..Ok ..If the CIA told President Bush very bluntly "NO WMD's" why and more importantly how could Powell spent four days and nights in a CIA conference room with top officials of the CIA trying to ensure the accuracy of the presentation..and then the CIA tell the President something different at the same time? That would mean the CIA was telling the President something different, than Colin Powell at the same time and that President GWBush did not tell Powell the CIA was lying to him..that's a pretty good stretch ..and one I would have to see the proof to believe.
