Jeffrey Sabol, 53 Kittredge, CO...Having breached the Capitol grounds equipped with a “helmet, trauma kit, buck knife, and zip ties,” Sabol was part of the mob that pushed against police lines until breaking through. He tried to pry away a baton and helmet visor from an officer; he and another rioter knocked an officer to the ground, whereupon Sabol yanked away his baton with so much force that “the officer’s torso was lifted off the ground.” He dragged another officer down the steps and into the mob, where the officer was beaten with a flagpole and a baton. Afterward, Sabol tried to destroy evidence of his role in the melee, going so far as to microwave multiple computers and toss his phone in a body of water. He also attempted to escape arrest by flying to Switzerland. (He was not permitted to board the flight.) Found guilty in a bench trial of three felonies and sentenced just last week (on March 21) to 63 months in prison and 36 months of supervised release, and ordered to pay $32,166 in restitution.

Here's another one.. Michael Mackrell, 42; Clifford Mackrell, 23, Wellington, OH 

This father-and-son team violently engaged with officers outside the Capitol. Michael Mackrell “wrapped his arm around the neck of a U.S. Capitol Police officer and threw the officer to the ground,” according to the Justice Department. He then pushed or tackled four other officers. Clifford Mackrell, meanwhile, “assaulted multiple law enforcement officers, including by striking and pushing officers, violently pulling at an officer’s gas mask.” He grabbed at one officer’s face and eyes, causing the officer to scream in agony. In separate sentencing hearings in March, both Mackrells' got 27 months in prison, followed by 12 months (Michael) and 36 months (Clifford) of supervised release. Each also owes $2,000 in restitution.

Honestly, the number of pardons or commutations on both sides of this Jan 6th controversy is amazing

from the 1500 today that Trump did of the people, to the how many that Joe gave on the 11th hour walking out the door makes this almost like it never happened

If you can't charge someone for a 'crime' and the one in charge at the time gets a 'gets out of jail free card' for participation then...

No more complaining, both sides have been let off the hook.  No crying over spilled milk

there will still be some who can't let go, but it's time to move on from this past because everyone involved has been exonerated

 IMO Fauci got the pardon because Joe believed the POS would have tried to drag his good name through the mud. The pardon prevents that from taking place.

I didn't ask if you KNEW where it came from. I asked where do you THINK it came from? Completely different. Stop skirting around and just answer with your own opinion. You have to have your own thoughts, right? Or did it just magically appear one day, before a pivotal election. An election that saw millions and millions more votes for democrats than this past election. Trump stayed about the same, so nobody can say democrats switched to Trump. Where did the missing votes go? Covid not around to keep everyone at home this time.

I'm not skirting & I don't normally offer opinions on situations I know very little about. Re: Covid, I got all my shots & didn't get sick. Either it worked for me or I was just lucky.

However, to soothe your need for an answer, I would say probably China.

There's lots of information out there for you to read  up on in you're curious. Ignorance is bliss I guess. I guess if you did spend some time reading up, you may not consider Mr. Science to be so honorable after all and might shed some light on possible reasons for this pardon. Maybe Trump wanted him around for a reason? What's the saying, keep your friends close and your enemies closer? When mounting evidence suggests that covid was originated in a lab, you can't really call people conspiracy theorists any more. Remember when certain social media sites were censoring information and going after those that questioned Mr. Science? Only to find out that the last admin pressured social media sites to sensor speech?  Kind of makes sense why sleepy would offer a pardon to someone who's supposed to be clean. Kind of ironic that people called Trump the fascist when the democrat admin was the one trying to sensor free speech. I guess most people were just blinded because they've been conditioned to hate Trump that they forgot to question their own. bahhaahhhh

I know several people that have medical issues after getting the vax and they still got covid. Did you know the possible side effects before you took the vax, or did you just blindly trust the govt and Mr. Science? Cool name, huh? "trust the science" only until the science goes against what you've been conditioned to blindly believe.

JONATHAN MELLIS,35, WILLIAMSBURG, VA..This genius posted videos to Instagram of himself storming the Capitol and yelling “We ain’t fucking leaving!” Mellis exhorted a fellow rioter, Justin Jersey (see below), to attack police and “knock their masks off,” prompting Jersey to charge the officers. Mellis then used the wooden stick Jersey had given him to stab “at the faces and heads of officers at least five times, violently striking” them. In a video afterward, he indignantly insisted “it was Trumpers,” not Antifa or Black Lives Matter, who deserved credit for the day’s events. Mellis pleaded guilty to one felony count and was sentenced last December 20 to 51 months in prison and 36 months of supervised release; he was also ordered to pay $20,000 in fines.

 You nor I are in a position to say who had what qualifications, or who would've been better. The fact is, he now has the esteemed position of being a man who mismanaged covid and HIV/AIDS. He pushed a bunch of now disproven rhetoric while withholding knowledge from the American people. He knew damn well what was going on in Wuhan but continued to push spook atories about bats and wet markets. And "masking up". What he did was downright treasonous. He cared more about peotecting the integrity of the WHO and China than he did about the health and safety of the American people. He was a failure. I'm sure there were other people out there more capable than Fauci.

Biden pardoned because he's guilty of something. Not because he's afraid of Trump going after an innocent man.

It was his disaster. That is very, very true.

But it was complicated by at least two other facts.  Trump is used to running businesses where you delegate things out and trust your advisors (experts) in areas you do not fully know.  Obviously, at a desperate time you want to have trust in your 'expert' in viruses.  Another issue is that his other advisors that should have known what an idiot Fauci is and that he did not have a clue what he was doing, were too afraid to tell Trump to dismiss him, or at least disregard some of his 'forcing' of policy on the country.  It is not like Fauci's history was hidden.  

But, hopefully, Trump and the country (and the World, because they look to the USA as a leader) have learned not to follow a medical bureaucrat as a policy-setter that will drastically affect the economy and have social effects for years to come.

 You all have pretty much the same view of Dr.Fauci but yet none of you have answered why the POS didn't replace him. All I've heard 20/20 hindsight, he created the problems & we didn't know what we didn't know. Did Fauci tell us that Covid would just disappear? Did he tell us to inject bleach? Did Fauci disregard the warnings? Did he cause the almost 20% unemployment rate that was a result of Covid? Did he give away taxpayer money to any Tom, Dick & Harry that made a claim? Did he cause the lack of testing equipment? Did he slash the CDC & it's epidemic prevention activities? Did Fauci play down the serious nature of Covid? Did he tell us that China had everything under control? The leader of our country was MIA & history will show he failed miserably. And now we are no longer members of the WHO along with Lichtenstein where global cooperation & shared knowledge takes place when health issues arrive. I imagine you think the WHO is worthless.

God forbid there is ever another pandemic in the next 4 years with the POS & RFK in charge.

kYLE FITZSIMMONS, 39, LEBANON, MA..After entering the Capitol grounds, Fitzsimons “hurled an unstrung bow like a spear” at law enforcement officers, hitting one of them. He then “made forcible contact” with a police detective as another rioter sprayed a chemical agent into the detective’s face, causing him “to temporarily suffocate.” He then attacked a police sergeant who came to another officer’s aid, “causing permanent injuries to the sergeant’s shoulder that necessitated surgery and ultimately ended the sergeant’s lengthy law enforcement career.” He then charged at a group of officers, “wildly swinging his fists,” before exiting the grounds while exhorting others to “get in there” and fight. He was convicted of seven felony charges and sentenced on last July to 87 months in prison, 36 months of supervised release, and $2,000 in restitution.
