Unlike Obama and Biden pardons of non-violent inmates chosen by justice department, most of Trump pardons serve some personal or political purpose.
Just wondering Third, did you say the same thing about Democrats and their politicians encouragement of violent protests during the covid times? Or do you only speak up now because you have a chance to bash Trump?

understand some of your viewpoints but seriously? Really? Do you really think she meant to kill people in a car crash? Driving drunk or impaired is not the point you are making here, it is simply a Jan6th was arrested again. We're talking about conspiracy to commit murder against members of law enforcement here. You are making solid points but this one falls short Mid
No one plans to kill anyone while drunk driving but tell that to the surviving family members.
She didn't observe the DUI laws just as not observing the laws against entering the Capitol as part of a mob.
There's a pattern here & I believe you recognize it.

Would that be like immigrants who disobey our immigration laws?

Of course. Most certainly. Get them off the streets.
It's one of the reasons I don't understand the POS' blanket pardon that includes some real scumbags. Like..
Theodore Middendorf was accused by Illinois prosecutors of "Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault ofa Child." Prosecutors said Middendorf "committed an act of sexual penetration." Indiana state records indicate that Middendorf's victim was 7 years old. He was sentenced to 19 years in prison but was pardoned & on the streets again. Or how about this gem...
Peter Schwartz has a "jaw-dropping criminal history of 38 prior convictions going back to 1991" when he assaulted police officers with pepper spray on Jan. 6. When those prosecutors made their sentencing recommendations to the judge, they described a 1994 disorderly conduct case for throwing a "lit cigarette at a victim" and striking her "near her eyes"; a 2004 case for assault with a deadly weapon; a 2019 case for "terroristic threats" for threatening police while under arrest for domestic assault; and a 2020 case of assaulting his wife "including by biting her on the forehead and punching her multiple times." He was sentenced to 14 years but served les than 4 when your boy released him. Or how about this degenerate...
David Daniel of Mint Hill, N.C., was chargedwith "Production of Child Pornography" and "Possession of Child Pornography," which allegedly "involved a prepubescent minor" and a child under 12 years old. Separately, Daniel pled guilty to a charge of assaulting police officers on Jan. 6, but he had not yet been sentenced. Your boy's Department of Justice dismissed that case.
These guys are not unique. There are plenty more who are as dangerous to communities as some illegals. These scumbags should never had been released into our streets again. The justice worked in these case but your boy revoked everything involved in putting these degenerates away.
BTW...When your boy first came on the scene, I called him Piggy. You & others didn't like it, so I changed his moniker to POS. Recently you reminded me you didn't like that handle either. So in deference to you, I will no longer call you boy by the POS label.

I feel POTUS should have listened to his AGs nominee statement from her hearing..look at each case on.a case by case basis. He DIDN'T..mistake..
He gave blanket pardons that was unwise but..I'm sure he was so pissed at Sleepy for what he did with pardons last couple of weeks.
And NOW, he's going to fire ANY DOJ attorney's that we're involved with ANY of the prosecutions
This is All such a Mess..things are going to get much much worse before they ever resemble improvement..BUT, even you have to AGREE, with DEI infiltrating throughout our government and military..THIS is a TOTAL shitshow the new administration is inheriting.
Sleepy Joe will definitely go down as the biggest disaster occupying the Oval Office in HISTORY and it's not even close

For Trump, DEI is the scapegoat for everything to distract from his plan to gut government. He has taken a powerless program and turned it into a excuse for everything wrong. His claim of totalitarian affirmative action is exaggerated. Actually, DEI has hardly been institutionalized at any level. He promotes the conspiracy theory that straight white men are disadvantaged while everyone else is undeservingly elevated. He paints women and people of color as under qualified and incompetent. This is an affront to decades of progress in fighting discrimination and injustice still common in workplaces since civil rights movement.

@BigGame90 But this is what I said there: Because it is so unusual to pardon folks that have not even been investigated, let alone convicted, it does look bad. He (by ‘he’, I mean Biden’s advisors) can say they are preemptive, but it certainly makes for a presumed guilty look. It will be interesting to see if anyone tries to move some of the Fauci stuff down to a state level. Because the President only has the pardon for federal crimes it would be interesting to see if this would apply, and how many governors would do the same. But it is a very bad look. Far worse, than say the draft dodgers during Vietnam. If it can be demonstrated that some of the suspected things Fauci did and was aware of are true, that would be awful for him to get away with it.
