Well heeled travelers can afford staying where they want. Since the American public foots the bill spending should be more disciplined.

I think you missed my point. I'm comparing the "cost" at staying at both hotels not the quality of the stay. For McCarthy to say "what's the difference" shows he's clueless about the associated cost to the taxpayers. The fact that these funds go into Trump's pocket instead of the Marriott's or any other hotel is the problem for me. He shouldn't be making money off the American public while in office.
This should be his biggest concern once he leaves office.
