June 14,2019HAPPY BIRTHDAY....MR. PRESIDENT Thanks to you,, America is winning again.
I heard they had a great party with cake, balloons & games.
They didn't need to hire any clowns because the WH is full of them.

Hey 3rd, hope you don't mind me taking a crack at this.
First, I don't get the "cut/paste" crack since many of us use it in this forum to share information in a quick & easy way.
Secondly. Congress has oversight authority & a constitutional obligation. It is undisputed that Trump is profiting from his businesses which is in violation of the Emoluments clause. Their is also substantial evidence of ethical concerns regarding theft of charitable donations, unreasonable inaugural & campaign funds usage even involving payments to women for sexual favors received. The IRS code contains a provision that the Treasury SHALL furnish any return requested in writing by the chairman of the Ways and Means committee. The statute DOES NOT say a justification for the request is necessary.
Lastly, I believe if 3rd were to use his native tongue most of us probably would have a tough time understanding his message. Your current way of communication is understandable for most of us & your input is appreciated.
Slim...I view your comment "I'll try to figure it out" an undeserved cheap shot. Do you really find it that difficult to understand 3rd's posts? I don't think so. You may not like what he says but his message is clear.

I can see your point of view.
A president releasing their taxes has never been a problem in my lifetime. Those of us inquisitive types wonder what if anything he is hiding. He boasts so often about his wealth. it seems reasonable to let the country know who he owes money to, where he makes his money & how he spends it.
When did he become so shy?

In reference to Manafort, Christie & Lewandoski possibly being called in front of Congress, this is what one of Trump's advisers had to say on the subject...
"They think people are gonna roll over and play dead for these morons? They may accept just to have the opportunity to spit in the face of Elijah Cummings, Schiff and Nadler, and I would recommend that they do it,” Joe diGenova said.
Maybe Joe is auditioning for the Press Secretary position. That's how Barr got his job.

Acting Defense Secretary Shanahan's confirmation hearing just got pushed back another month.
Claims made by his ex of spousal abuse & his participation in bar room brawls are being investigated by the FBI.

Manafort is not headed to Rikers Island for now. He has some friends in high places.
Barr's top deputy, Jeffrey Rosen sent a letter to state prosecutors stating Manafort will stay in federal lockup until his trial in NY state.
We haven't heard the end of this.

Shanahan drops out to spend more time with his family.
Just like the other 437 that have left the administration.

Looks like Boeing (Shanahan) leaving and Raytheon (Esper) coming.
Esper is a former Chief of Staff for the Heritage Foundation.
Trump the puppet continues to have his strings pulled.

Trump says Shanahan wants to spend more time with his family.
The dude has been divorced for 10 years & his kids are now adults.
I think he coughed in his last meeting.

Trump had a round table (fund raiser) discussion costing 250k for a seat at the table today. It cost 100k to just attend the luncheon.
It's still pay to play in Washington. We have the best democracy money can buy.

How farked is Alabama?
Jeff Sessions hasn't ruled out running for his old Senate seat against pedophile Roy Moore.

This is common of both parties. I know this because the Bay Area often plays host to these events. I'm not saying it's right. In fact it's quite wrong. I just get tired of one side, and it's constituents, pointing out the shady dealings of the other side as if both parties aren't guilty of all of the same shite. Politics are shady. And they'll always be shady as long as we, the people, are to busy choosing sides and muck slinging to hold anyone accountable. For as much as you have to say on covers, I hope you're active in your community. I hope you organize. I hope you register the unregistered. I hope you hold your representatives accountable. Otherwise you're just hot air and wasted server space.

I know who I am. My family & friends know who I am. My community knows who I am. You are none of these.
I once shared an incident in Michigan when my wife & I treated some veterans to an afternoon minor league baseball game. I remember you saying something to the effect of the post being one of the best you had read on covers. We support our veterans & act accordingly to help. In fact, contact the Grand Rapids, MI Veterans home & ask if they know of a South Florida family that regularly provides clothing, furniture, fishing equipment/tournaments & funding. Maybe they will tell you maybe they won't. Ask for Deana in the Donations & Volunteers Office. So if you think I'm full of shit, call them or shut the fark up about whether I'm involved in my community. Make sure you come back & tell everyone what you found out.
If you recall, when the forest fires took place in Cali I urged forum members to help aid the firefighters & mentioned a couple of ways they could easily to do just that. I'm involved. I'm not a spectator.
When the shooting took place in Parkland, I posted on here how the community had been devastated & I attended 4 funerals. To let off steam, I debated gun control in this forum but more importantly got in touch with Marco Rubio's office to get his support on gun control in Florida. In fact his voice mailbox was full but someone in the forum gave me an alternative phone number to try. You can probably find that thread as well.
Oh yeah..my wife & I volunteer every year at the polling station checking voter registration cards & providing ballots to voters on Election Day.
I hope you practice what you preach. Rest assured I'm doing my part.

I had to read through my post to see where I said you were full of spit but I couldn't find it. Maybe my post came off more as more confrontational than it was meant to be. I've read plenty of your post about your community involvement. I respect and appreciate all of it. What I was specifically asking about though, was political involvement. And volunteering at polling places isn't what I had in mind. Have you ever volunteered on a campaign? Are you making people in the community aware of some of these issues that affect them? Are you holding your political representatives accountable? Taking them to task on how they vote. Making sure they are representing their constituency and not lobbyist?

No, I have never participated in a campaign or shared my political views with others. I have always supported our President no matters who it was...Dem or Rep. But I can't remain silent about the guy now in office.
I have attended town halls & questioned our State Rep Ted Deutch about the need to get semi-automatic weapons off the streets of South Florida. I have contacted the office of Marco Rubio but never spoke with him personally.
Politics and religion are two subjects I have stayed away from discussing & once Trump is out of office I will rarely be seen in this forum.
I am so disgusted with Congress I will use my vote for someone with similar values & for someone who can bring the country together again.

A writer for "Elle" magazine, E. Jean Carrol, claims Trump raped her 24 years ago & still has the unwashed clothing from when it happened.
Big deal right?
It's not like DNA on clothing has ever come back to haunt a President.
