Police shoot another unarmed black man

Two big mistakes took place.

Don't try to run away from police & the officer shouldn't have taken his weapon out of the holster. The man was no longer a threat & help was on the way.

no doubt the police most certainly seem to be at fault in a serious way here for using excessive force and to shoot him in that area?.was it a "mistake" to direct the shot specifically at the guys head?hard to believe...there are many other options to incapacitate somebody....im not sure what the legal protocols and technical details are as they relate to such an incident but the officer should be accountable in a major way one would think.

but once again,why are these people NOT COMPLYING????you can argue all day and all night about what certain laws should apply in society and what police should be able to do in a general sense,thats another issue altogether......but the fact as it stands that we all understand remains that legally and practically speaking we as citizens are 100% obliged to obey and comply in a certain way in any verbal or physical interaction with the police...everyone knows this.you would have to be braindead not to know and understand.and yet EVERY SINGLE TIME one of these tragedies comes out there is ALWAYS some form of resistance or non-compliance.why?????had there been total and utter submission would the result have been the same regardless??we will never know.but can anyone show me one time.just ONE time.where one of these shootings has occurred after the victim had been passive and compliant in every regard?

Still that's another two unarmed African-Americans gunned down with excessive use of force by white officers.

You can make assumptions all day. It should have never gotten to that situation in the first place.

Comply. Take your fix it ticket. 2 weeks later the ticket is fixed. Easy.

Why do citizens escalate these situations and put themselves in jeopardy? Are we not teaching children/ young adults and even adults how to comply with officers to make their jobs easier? Maybe that whole "RESIST" movement was the wrong message to send or they never fully addressed the resist aspect. Maybe some groups want these situations to happen so they can continue to push their agenda that cops are bad. What was the message behind "RESIST" in the first place? Protest peacefully, sure. RESIST an officer trying to serve the public which is the oath they took, wrong.

It's not that difficult to comply, listen, obey and follow orders from authority.

Just as bad, imo, are the apologists for the wrongful police action who also blame the  unarmed black victims for their own deaths at the hands of a white police officer

Everyone rushes to conclusions without waiting for facts.  The Sharptons and crumps of the world who prey on their own, blm only gets involved when it only benefits them.   People will be still alive today if only they complied.  That simple.   Nobody mentions the fact that majority are criminals already.  Again, comply ...not so hard.

Just comply. Don't resist. Don't fight back. Don't run. Stay in your car, put your hands on the wheel. Answer questions honestly.

So an unarmed black male is fearful of racist harm to himself at the hands of a white officer and resists to protect himself from anticipated racism.  His fears of racist violence against him are soon realized because the cop who had wrestled him to the ground with backup on the way decides to shoot the unarmed black male in the back of the head.

Correct.   Being fearful of racist violence perpetrated by a white police officer is apparently a death sentence now.

If you are no longer a threat  -  you get shot in the back of the head.  Must be an "unwritten rule" of policing that I am unaware.

yep               non-compliance is an automatic death sentence . it states that in the law and all police manuals    everybody should b aware of this  fact

I had always believed there was a law about reasonable use of force.   Nothing about that officers actions, after he wrestled the man to the ground in position to handcuff him and with backup police on the way, was reasonable.   A gun shot to the back of the head of an *UNARMED* man lying on the ground FACE DOWN no less  is NEVER justified under any circumstance!

Maybe BLM org should be spending their funds on helping black lives/ communities instead of buying up mansions in CA and lavish material items, right? Is BLM really about helping the community, or moving to new communities? Maybe they should be spending their "donations" and funds on teaching young adults how to handle themselves in presence of authority so they can become more civil with authorities so they don't fear police. Just a thought. 

Comply. Not a difficult concept to comprehend. Should be taught in all schools, regardless of color of your skin. Would go along way in society for those that show up to school.
