Nearly 60% of Americans Want Trump Charged For Insurrection
HUFFPOST -
Nearly six in 10 Americans believe former President Donald Trump should be charged with a crime for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to a new poll released Sunday.
Almost 21% of republican voters asked also agree!
The findings by the ABC News/Ipsos survey reveal a very slight uptick in support for prosecution of Trump since the start of televised hearings by the House select committee investigating the insurrection that Trump incited. An ABC News/Washington Post poll conducted in April found that 52% of those surveyed thought the same.
Looks like the majority finally got their wish

Reality Check !!! Your first post on this was
People certainly can't be feeling the same way if Trump is now leading in the polls .
The people realize that the Dems are just trying to put Trump away , and keep him from the presidency..... but the people want him back in office.

CNN article continued ...
Everything else about Trump in her ruling was bone-chilling.
District Judge Sarah Wallace wrote that Trump had played a role in this insurrection “through incitement” of the crowd during his inflamatory speech at the White House Ellipse. She gave examples such as Trump telling his supporters some 20 times before the January 6 attack to “fight.” And he goaded his supporters into action with lines like, “You will have an illegitimate president … We can’t let that happen.”

Not sure why this wasn't captured in the earlier post, but this was 1.5 years ago !!
People can see through this "show trial" that the Dems are pushing. More importantly, people are suffering under Bidenflation, and will vote accordingly.

CNN article cont...
“Such incendiary rhetoric,” the judge noted, coming from “a speaker who routinely embraced political violence and had inflamed the anger of his supporters leading up to the certification, was likely to incite imminent lawlessness and disorder.”

Putting aside the legal issue, we should all heed Judge Wallace’s warnings about how dangerous Trump is. As she wrote, “Trump has consistently endorsed violence and intimidation as not only legitimate means of political expression, but as necessary, even virtuous.” She added, alarmingly, that “Trump was aware that his supporters were willing to engage in political violence and that they would respond to his calls for them to do so.”

The judge couldn’t be more correct. Trump has a documented history of embracing violent rhetoric that has led his supporters to threaten or commit acts of violence, from his 2016 presidential campaign to today.

No doubt Judge Wallace's fact based comments will come into play again in another trial.

Several courts have already ruled that Trump engaged in insurrection by inciting riot and offering aid or comfort. Evidences from House investigations were so strong that they lead to justice department indictment of Trump. No conviction is necessary to prove Trump is a career criminal. In 50 years, Trump and his organization have been convicted many times. For examples, tax evasion, sexual assault, defamation, business fraud and others. According to wikipedia, he has been involved in over 4000 lawsuits. Clearly, he is a cruel con man who has no respect for the law. His followers should wake up.
