Obviously very good news for war weary Europe who are otherwise struggling without Russian energy imports. Ultimately though, this is going to severely cost Russia. Europe will successfully wean themselves away from reliance on Russia over time, which will force Russia to lower prices. Either way, the overall drop in export revenues will be crippling to the Russian economy.
Good news. Pressure to end the conflict will ultimately lead to LOWER INFLATION around the world including here!

Since inflation skyrocketed when Putin attacked Ukraine, it just makes sense that inflation should easily when the conflict is brought to an end. The sooner the better. In a round about way funding Ukraine will indirectly bring on price reductions for everyday Americans.

Top US general says
Ukraine war has become an 'absolute catastrophe' for Russia, estimating it's suffered 'significantly well over' 100,000 casualties
INSIDER -
"Ukraine has also suffered tremendously," Milley added.
"You know that there's a significant amount of innocent
civilians that have been killed in a result of the Russian
actions. The Russians are hitting civilian infrastructure.
There's a significant amount of economic damage, a
significant amount of damage to the energy infrastructure,
and the Ukrainian military has suffered a significant amount
of casualties themselves."

Our President has given the OK to ship the world's most advanced battle tanks to Ukraine!
That move prompted the Germans and Poles to send their top tanks, the Leopard 2!

This is good news but these tanks are not even built yet & will take months before Ukrainian troops are trained & actually are able to use/maintain them in defense of their country.

US and French forces seized Iranian-supplied weapons
CNN —
The US Navy assisted the French military in seizing thousands of
assault rifles and half a million rounds of ammunition that were
heading to Yemen from Iran in January, the US military confirmed
on Wednesday.
“US 5th Fleet assets assisted partner maritime forces in
the interdiction by sharing information and helping
coordinate the overall effort”
“We also ultimately took custody of the confiscated weapons
through a ship-to-ship transfer with partner forces.”
A US official confirmed to CNN that the French military was
the partner force in question.
US Central Command confirmed on Wednesday that more
than 3,000 assault rifles, 578,000 rounds of ammunition,
and 23 anti-tank guided missiles were seized last month.

Russia’s budget deficit grew in January, driven by higher Russian spending and sinking energy revenues as a result of a price cap imposed by Ukraine’s allies led by US President Joe Biden.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see one positive comment from the GOP regarding the excellent new job numbers.
Why does the GOP continue to root against our country?
Instead, their response was "Balloongate."

@Midnight1
I don't count as GOP but I did pass my Econ 101 class.....
Job numbers are a reflection of the number of American's needing to take up a SECOND job to make ends meet. The job numbers do not differentiate between those who are already employed with one job vs. those employed full time and picking up a part-time gig.
There are countless articles outlining this fact, they've been popping up since last summer. Easy to find googL search.
Schiff speaks about this fact in this video, about the 7:30 min mark or so....I haven't watched the whole video but the first 10 min or so are well worth anyone's time here if you would actually like to have a more educated view on the topic.

Months of high inflation have weighed heavily on households.
As of December, 64% of Americans were living paycheck to paycheck, according to a recent LendingClub report — up from 61% a year earlier and in line with the historic high first hit in March 2020.
For the first time, more than half of all six-figure earners also said they were stretched too thin, a jump from 42% a year ago.
“The effects of inflation are eating into every American’s wallet and as the Fed’s efforts to curb inflation drive up the cost of debt, we are seeing near record numbers of Americans living paycheck to paycheck,” said Anuj Nayar, LendingClub’s financial health officer.
