We will never know bout Sanders in re 2016, but just wanted to add that it is easy to say that he would win and was so popular but he was never really vetted nor did he receive any negative attacks because Clinton didn’t want to piss off his supporters and trump had no reason to. I can imagine the ties to socialism/ Russia and electing another draft dodging pervert that would have come out. I like some of Bernie’s ideas and he seems to be a straight shooter but not his extreme govt involvement. I also think it is ironic that Pelosi was so quick to minimize the victory by Ocasio Cortez

Yeah I also agree with your opinion, I think Clinton let Trump run the show and she looked weak and reactionary. Sanders would (and does now) have shut him down and even though Trump is a loud mouth blow hard Sanders does not back down to anyone. I bet big bucks and no whammies that Trump would have rudely abused Sanders because that is the kind of pig Trump is but Sanders is smarter than Clinton with regards to handling debates and disagreement.
