when are the circuit court judges termed out? Federal Judges is not a life time appointment. and the ninth circuit has trouble reading the words in the constitution. was not even close to what is written and their interpretation.....

i asked if harrassment order could be filed against a federal official i was politely informed you can not even file one on a law enforcemnt official. I understand that with attorneys anything can be done but it seems that we have a tale of two americas, on one side no is above the law. on the other poor who can afford legal representation can be subjected to all mannubjected to all manner of tyranny.

In fairness, that site you linked seems to be anti-Trump.
If so, one is not less served by getting their news from Fox.
You are either impartial, or you're not.

Although, there are some interesting articles on that site nonetheless. 

The specific article you linked had a lot of different scenarios that could play out come October, when the SCOTUS hears the case. 
Thus, I don't think anyone truly knows what will happen yet.

Personally, I am not in favor of any type of muslin ban, temporary or otherwise, but I am adamantly about adhering to laws.
To my limited understanding of legal matters, I am under the impression that a sitting President has the authority to impose a travel ban in the manner that Trump did, and it was the lower courts (9th district) which acted out in a bias manner in putting a stop to it. 

I could be wrong, that is just my understanding of it.

Its funny, sometimes I have no idea what is being discussed when some members try to blame the media for all the stupidity that originates from lazy weak people. I dont follow any media so I really dont know which is what, outside the crying here about what shows are making people think a certain way or that some channel is turning the country into lazy liberals...its baffling to me, I really dont know or want to try and blame a TV screen for my laziness like many here do.

There is no gloating whatsoever from me on the SCOTUS vote. Just a statement of fact. Thankfully the retiring  Kennedy was not a swing vote. Let's be honest.. The Left has not won anything since Trump took office. Noting but losers since Jan of 2017. All of the aforementioned comments are the Truth.

that site has some very good legal analysis on there.  i think if you read that article and then the fox news article, i think you'll see pretty quickly the difference just in terms to a basic understanding of what the supreme court is doing and how this process works without regard to any opinions about the ban itself, of which there really aren't any in that article.

in other words, if you read the article i posted, you really won't know what the authors thinks about the ban itself, but you will definitely get a much better understanding of what is going on, the process and what it means for the supreme court to review this particular issues.
that's really all you can hope for in objective reporting.

on the other hand, if you read fox news, it's like doing meth, but without the pesky hangover.  so, they both have their merits.

That is weak...it is a quick and lazy excuse for people thinking differently than one another. Just because someone has a different opinion or has weaknesses does not mean the reason is because of the media.

Lazy, self centered people existed before the tv was invented and I think MOST people are not tuning in to their tv to make a political decision. Watching political tv in my opinion is only for a segment of the population and that segment (again in my opinion) have already formed their opinion and look to the media to VALIDATE that position and use what they view as material to try and prove it to others.

Notice that some here use the media constantly as a rebuttal or example to make a point...those same people rely on this as a main source for their validation.

I think the groups that many here try and portray as swayed by the media, especially from one side more than another, those people are not motivated to watch that kind of tv nor interested in that.

What is the majority of tv programming for the average citizen, do we have 30 channels of political commentary or do we have 100 channels of game shows, garbage talk shows, get rich quick schemes and general regional news?

I dont agree at all with your premise, but what else is new.

I am stunned that the Supreme Court ruled that we have a President who is allowed by the constitution to keep anyone out of the country.

What needs to be done is these liberal judges like the 9th circuit and others who heard this case need to be impeached. Many of these judges gave money to the last President's campaign one gave 200K. These judges if they had ANY respect would have recused themselves. Instead they go outside the law and don't use the law because President Trump says MEAN things and hurt people's feelings

Time to break up the 9th circuit

Oh and as mad as Liberals are today with the ruling on the ban and the Missouri case about religious liberty. If you're mad now....Wait until President Trump makes 4 more Supreme Court picks

I disagree with you, but what we are discussing is opinions, thus there need be no winner in any ongoing discussion. 

If not for the media, how does anyone know what is going on?

I'm not talking about the obviously slanted outlets, such as FoxNews and MSNBC, I'm talking about the vast majority of news outlets as having a bias.

CNN seems to be viewed by many on the left as a legit news source, yet any objective person would recognize that they are anything but.

The NYTimes, WAPO, et al, all terribly slanted.

The local news is pretty straight, but they just graze over political news so they can get to the weather. 

Therefore, IMO, if you are a consumer of political news, it is most likely from a source with an agenda.

There are a small few exceptions ... you can usually find them listed at the very bottom of the Neilson ratings.
