 Why does religion need to be forced into society in the first place? I like the concept of separation of church and state because that ideal means you practice your faith and belief system in the home, you can believe and worship whatever you like within the means of respect to society  and nobody can say otherwise. Once you step out of the home then your religion should stay home in how that interacts WITH society.

I think what matters most about religious beliefs and faith is not that others are forced to hear it, that others are forced to follow it, that others are forced to be governed by it...what matters most is the concepts and precepts that it teaches for the PERSON...THEN that person goes out and PRACTICES the concepts and precepts in how they act in public and how they treat others. There is no place in society for the force of any religion or a mandate or even an allowance of religion to be co-mingled with politics because we all believe differently and many do not believe at all and that is their right. I am a very religious person in my home but I despise seeing it in society even if that were identical to my belief structure, I still would not want it to be part of politics or society as a format or in any fashion to be involved with impacts on others. 

Society would be stronger, safer, more sound if people stopped forcing religion into politics, stop creating religious groups and political organizations, stop living the Old Testament and start living the New Testament. Christ did not choke the person and gentiles with his missionary work and his beliefs, he taught by example and by kindness by not judging and to be the better person. Christ also did not mix politics and religion, to Caesar that which is Caesar and his fathers house was not for money changing or politics. People are inherently selfish and abusive, people USE religion to hate to divide and to gain advantage, none of those things are following religions precepts of ANY faith.

Trump uses religion to win and to make money, to gain advantage...he is no example of Christianity or of religion, he is the complete opposite of what Christ taught, selling a Bible and dividing people to hate each other so he can win is the absolute worst and abusive to Christianity. 

Practice in your home, practice kindness and respect in society, leave religious dogma and framework out.

Has the other group been the core of multiple large scale wars where millions of people have died?

Religion kills more day in and out, decade in and out than the other group that you seriously need to ignore and quit being controlled by.

Christ would not condemn or persecute the LGBTQ group, neither should you.

 No, it was a good reply. I don't condemn anyone for their beliefs, yet I don't want to have them in my face about it. I think we can agree that there are zealots in both of the aforementioned groups that can make either intolerable at times.

The same way you should feel about that segment getting some face time in the media...just go about your life and do not be concerned with how others live their lives. If you feel that there is social harm or risk from something then take action, the fact that LGBTQ is an active group just means that finally they are not hiding and cowering in society like they did for all this time. The issue about kids and schools and all that is not the movement in total or the group in total, most of what you are complaining about is a small sub section and is not the only aspect of the whole. It is my thought that the more annoying attention seeking parts of the movement are people seeking to find themselves through forcing acceptance and by creating a spectacle and that will fade as they find out it is not the answer to what they are missing and seeking. Most of the LGBTQ community are just people trying to live and be happy not shove their narrative down your throat. I would consider it similar to extremists with religion, those people who have the audacity to vote on the rights and decisions of society based on THEIR singular religious framework, that is as insulting and abusive as seeing some social media twit pimping Bud Light on tv. Extremists who force views on a society who are not interested are the issue, not which group the force feed comes from.

  I'm not complaining........I do as you mention, live & let live. I was merely pointing out that it's not just the religious faction looking to force something on the GP. In this day/age, EVERYONE has an avenue to spew whatever their beliefs are, often to their own detriment. I'm used to it by now. It's just background noise. Hell, my biggest complaint these days is people in their rolling boom-boxes driving by at 2-3am. That's hard to ignore.

The TDS here is really bad for some. The Star Trek/John Wayne guy and Zeus guy,  that is upper-level 9 TDS out of a possible 10. Look at the amount of pro-Biden threads to Trump threads and who creates them. You have your answers from that fact alone.

I know one thing.  Trump is not looking to remove religion from our society, and he loves our country.  How do I know ?  Just look at his policies. 

Meanwhile, Joe and his cohorts have a wide open Southern Border that is meant to sow chaos in this country.  If Joe and his cohort truly love America, they sure have a funny way of showing it.  Also, didn't O'bama also say he was looking to "fundamentally transform America" while President ?  Ask yourself, ""IF"" they loved this country, why would they seek to change it so radically ?

Is C.J. Stroud giving thanks to God really "forcing" his views on others ??  I find that ridiculous ; your comment immediately followed my C.J. Stroud reference, so it's hard to see how this is being misconstrued.  

Also, we don't need to go back to Christ & Caesar to understand the role of religion, and the reference to religion/God in our society.  I think our founding fathers did a great job of that, thank you very much.  I know you lefties don't like to reference our founding fathers in a positive way,.... like ever.  But God is referenced often in our founding documents, and for good reason.  You have to look at it from "their" perspective as they ventured to a new world.  They knew they wanted to develop a society that put the individual first, (as opposed to a monarchist society which put them second).  Give people the power & freedom to believe in themselves & God, ..... not government.  In fact, the Bill of Rights developed later are meant to protect the people "from" government.

 What Federal elec mandates are there exactly? What I am noticing is the capitalist corps are deciding based on demand and costs so some are pulling back and some like Honda are going in a different direction (hydrogen) and some just are doing it poorly like Ford. I've not seen a federal forced elec mandate so let the old farts babble on against each other a mandate would be repealed anyway it has no chance of being implemented so this is just useless yacking if you ask me.

We went from "accepting" the Alphabet mafia  to them "promoting/pushing" their beliefs on others and our children. 

Try to keep up w/ current events.

 You are the one who said that toxic Adam/Steve garbage. The issue of kids is not the issue of homosexuality but for someone who is homophobic and intolerant they might seem the same.

The super cool thing is if parents are unhappy about schools they can attend district meetings, visit the schools and talk to the admin, move to other schools, home school etc. Or just be a biased, intolerant ultra conservative doobie.
