I am a well established non-partisan independent who would like to ask the following.
Are people who support Trump inferior human beings? It sounds harsh but I am serious here. And I think they are. People who I do not care to associate with or certainly would not like my young daughter to be around. J
They do not appear to have much critical thinking ability or ability to see a few feet in front of their nose. To support a bigoted egomaniac is puzzling.
I truely think they are inferior human beings and as such their votes should only count for a .3 vote.

The same groups who support the same candidates over and over and over without real analysis and critical thinking are sheep.
I also have no idea how anyone could support Trump...none at all. I dont consider myself a massive liberal, I also dont like Clinton but aside from the narrow silly candidate vs candidate thinking, I really dont get how anyone who spent any time analyzing Trump and his massive flaws, his total lack of detail and clarity..his moronic generalization and how he is such a condescending jerk...I dont get how anyone could really consider this guy as the leader of our country.
I see his talking points, of course I fail to see his plan because he has none..I cannot find concrete detail to anything because he has none...but I dont get how the masses can be fooled by such a massive fraud???

I think you distinguish between people who really support Trump and the people who are just anti-democrat in this election. I think there is a difference.

Mob mentality has a lot to do with it. His speeches aren't for people to gather and listen to his policies and ideas (he has none as you said), it's about being there and going to see what he says next. He's a combination of 1980's Howard Stern and Happy Gilmore.
Shock value (Stern)+ people who don't regularly follow politics getting swept up in the hype (Gilmore) = Trump supporters

Topic: This is gonna sound crazy but it is a serious question.
Are people who support Trump inferior human beings?
Only a arrogant and pretentious person would call it a serious question and then claim,,that they are serious about asking the question..just more of the left-wing hyperbole,, that we see on this forum daily..

In France far right Marine Le Pen could be the next president.
The UK is on the brink of leaving the EU.
Dangerous times for sure. I think the situation in Europe is more serious than in the US. The system in the US is strong and will survive a Trump presidency, in Europe the system is under attack and you can compare today with Europe in the 1930s.

The Western world is changing these years.
In Austria far right Hofer was very close to win.

.... You are correct ,,if we can survive 8 years of a Mohammedan presidency,, it can survive just about anything.

WSC, you need a detailed response to many of your charges about the election process , which you directed at the candidates themselves. If I have time later, I'll do so. Suffice to say for now that in a mass general election you must appeal to the average mentality and expect to be represented by news bites the majority of time. Mentality in the US is about 6 Th grade. So expect sound bite name calling. Expect the posturing to be a foreshadowing of their attitude. People elect and vote based on vague issues like these, especially swing voters. If you want a college level platform, you'll have to attend a special interest presentation that candidates give with focused speeches.

It is not a serious question. You are trolling for back and forth banter. You display your own ignorance.

A true NPI would have acknowledged the stupid sheep on both sides. Hillary supporters are even more ignorant because at least Trump has charisma. HRC is the female version of John Kerry. I've heard him compared to on old oak tree.

Wow this thread has the usual suspect lemmings all bent out of shape
You wish to censor those that you disagree with?
Why can't someone post without drawing a childish, petty comment from you?
And you constantly cry about bailouts, all a bailout really is, is someone agreeing with another poster. I know you hate them because they are usually in agreement against you.

Matt,
As a fellow non-partisan independent, logically I have my own view on this issue and I think you are over generalizing.
Trump supporters are not all the same, so to paint win such broad strokes does not seem accurate to me.
I think if you look at who is following trump it is the GOP majority. So with in this group of trump supporters are other presestablished groups.
You have the partisan lemmings that are supporting trump simply because he is running GOP and they are incapable to being able to think beyond that and now try to figure every and any desperate way to support him and be anti-dem. So you have that pack of lemmings
You also have the conservative Fox News, fox and friends, prescribed rhetoric and talking points sheeple. And while trump completely owned foxnews, the gullibility factor of these people to be easily lead is there and trump being an opportunist saw this as a "buy low" opportunity in terms of buying low on critical and independent thought.
Similar to this you have the talking head shock jocks like rush, hannity, savage nation etc. and even tho these individuals haven't necessarily always commanded their mindless following to support trump, once again trump the opportunist is able to use angry and emotional rhetoric to capture the passionate hate and anger this group lives upon as their life blood. I could see why these angry emotional talking heads wouldn't like trump because trump steals their angry emotional listeners.
Then if you look outside of the GOP you have the racists and sexists and bigots that have been waiting for a candidate that doesn't believe in PC and regardless of his ideas of lack there of, trump embodies their way of thinking and being as hateful angry racist bigots.
So as you can see trump supporters are very diverse and to lump them all together and make an overgeneralization about them doesn't seem fair to me.
I think a more realistic view of trump supporters needs to be employed in an analysis like I had outlined.

I have often pondered that same question regarding those that support Obama or HRC
I guess it depends on your point of view... what you think is smart, or silly or stupid.

I'll bite. Group thinking liberal lemmings like yourself are going to get the clown who is trump elected because u r absolutely clueless about his appeal or his supporters. U call trump a biggot because he will basically say anything to get elected. The guy has been in business for 50 years and has there been 1 incident where he acted in a discriminate manner toward minorities. Yet the first black president (slick willy) when he gets a little frustrated w the second 1 makes a comment about how he would have been carrying his bags a few years ago. That's about as racist a comment u can make, but I'm all ears about a comparable incident involving Trump
trump is winning primarily because Americans are tired of nothing getting done. They want some1 to go in there and blow up the place. They r also tired of the politically correct crap and it won't hurt to have some1 w a business background who is willing to make a deal, unlike the repub establishment or ObamA. Trumps support has relatively little or anything to do w race and the more u condescending libs keep screaming it the more popular the clown will become.
