"Diplomacy" in the Trump Era:

He says the member states must work together to confront “rogue regimes”.

“If the righteous many do not confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph,” he says

14 minutes into the speech, Trump mentions North Korea, speaking about the death of American student Otto Warmbier after being detained by the North Korean government. 

He says the “entire world” is threatened by the nuclear threat in North Korea.

“We have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,” Trump says.

My god....

The stated policy of the US prior to Trump has been Nor Korea can't have nukes.  They now have nukes.  Does this mean we were just kidding all along.  Not sure what the answer is (from my perspective not sure why we should care about nor Korea and should leave it to the countries in the area), but it seems that if u believe prior presidents (Dems and Repubs) then once they get nukes, u have to act up to and including military action.  Otherwise you become a mockery, which seems the direction we have been heading recently.  

I have issues with a lot that Trump does, and says, but not this. I don't want to be locked in this nuclear pissing match anymore than you do but clearly diplomacy hasn't worked with the Kim family. We, as Americans, don't also have the best disposition to foreign countries but we don't have inherent hate for North Koreans. North Koreans, on the other hand, are taught to hate Americans. Diplomacy will not work here. What, are we suppose to have Rodman broker a deal? God help us.

The OP has taken selective words taken out of the whole sentence to misrepresent what the President really said ..

Here's what President Trump said :

“The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,”

Big difference .....

Whenever trump discusses north korea on camera,  he should wear "lol" t-shirt.

I dont think you can find many posts of mine that state I voted for or care about Hillary at all, in fact she is a very rotten and underhanded person. I thought that back when Bill was in office and I think the same if not worse now.

obama did nothing by further the lie to the American people and kick the can down the road.  Bottom line he said a nuclear NK could not be tolerated.  NK has nukes so obama, bush, and Clinton all failed   This is one of the main reasons trump was elected as the American people were tired of business as usual and nothing getting done

Do you know anything about places such as North Korea!? Trump is 100% right... we have to be very careful with countries such as NK! They don't mean well...

Well Trump cannot be bashing China's trade practices and cheap products one day and be covertly negotiating how to keep NK shoved down a hole.
