Actually, Trump deregulation has little impact on US economy according to Goldman Sach bank. No evidence that employment or capital investment accelerated more. On stocks, no correlation between regulatory burden and post election returns among companies in S&P 500 index.
In practice, Trump administration has done very little deregulation according to Brookings institution. Growth of regulations have been halted but existing regulatory framework is largely intact. Deregulation has limited impact because of several reasons. First, deregulation is a slow and difficult process to implement. Secondly, federal regulations have less impact than state and municipal regulations. Third, costs aren't that large for many regulations.
Instead of deregulation, more economic growth can be achieved by expanding trade markets, increasing immigration of skilled workers, investing in infrastructure, research or development and worker training. Trump legacy may wind up being anemic growth, more income inequality, higher debt and interest rates.

is pointless. It's the equivalent of a religious forum or religious debate. It just goes on and on and on with no end in sight. Obviously I'm part of the problem cause I throw out my two cents and it feels like a big waste of my time ... and it's a big waste of your time for reading my posts ... and a big waste of the moderators time for keeping the order (maybe they give us a little more leeway in this forum compared to others). The other non betting forums here on covers have topics varying in subject that stimulate humorous/insightful/fascinating/bizzare replys. Here's its just one side bitching at the other and we all know which guys are on which team. Right vs Left, Conservative vs Liberal, Trump vs Obama, etc, etc, etc. I think it would be best for covers to shutter the political forum once and for all and replace it with something more interesting. What would you guys vote for? I'm thinking ....
common with the Kavanaugh and odds pending with the houses election the presidential election and the fact that all of this discussion can happen outside of general discussion or any of the other forums politics is needed and thank you to the mods for this space.
