 JPOW also said "there's clearly deleveraging going on in hedge funds in leveraged trades" which is a bad sign for those holding and not selling (like most people that have no clue what's in their 401ks but they go to work every day and pay no attention to where there monies are going). Everyone is pissed because the markets are going down, but nobody asks why the markets were going up at a crazy high rate. Maybe, all the leveraging that had happened caused the markets to go up and maybe there's a shit ton of bad bets out there that will be unwounded and those paying no attention will be the bag holders. You know what happens when the hedge funds and banks get bailed out because they made shit bets, right? You watch your portfolio get annihilated while hoards of cash get piled up and bail outs start and then people start to complain when it's already too late.

I've admitted before that during previous administrations, I was AOL. I was much more trusting in our government now matter who was in the oval office. And if I didn't have hope that changes can take place to control this madman, why would I even take part in these discussions. As far as other administrations & the same things happening, I disagree with your statement.

I don't recall previous administrations attacking our allies with outlandish demands. I don't recall constant threats directed at the media, universities, former government employees, law firms & just us regular folks who want to live united not divided while paying our fair share of taxes. I don't recall any other presidents so blatantly fucking around with the markets or regularly attacking judges on a personal basis. I don't recall an administration taken to court by some many states & businesses. I don't recall such an incompetent, ill prepared, inexperienced cabinet. I've never seen a president give so much power to an unelected person that has caused nothing but chaos. I've never seen a president attack policies that were created to level the playing field regarding employment. I've never seen a president banish people from our country without due process. I don't recall a president that has backtracked on so many issues so early in their term. So I'm just not picking up what you're laying down.

BTW...it's nice to have a civil conversation while disagreeing on a topic. Thank you for that.
