I don't think your numbers are correct. I dug deep into this one and couldn't find 700 billion. Frankly, 700 dollars sent outside of the country in wrong in my opinion but there are some misleading data and all out falsehoods being thrown around online.
I have been digging as well. The fact that Pelosi and company gave Congress TWO hours to read a 5,500 page bill says it all. This bill should have been ONE PAGE (or a few pages) with relief clearly spelled out to go to those in need.
Instead, Pelosi delivered a joke. She mocked and insulted the American people by offering a pittance while she and her cronies attempted to fund a slew of pet projects across the globe. Is that what struggling American workers waited months for?
This was supposed to be about helping Americans, but Pelosi clearly has no interest in that.
There should not be a dollar that leaves this country.There should not be a dollar for anything other then the people of this country,and small business's.I believe there should not be money given to huge corporations either,but I don't know if the economy can survive if we don't help them.I believe there are going to be parts of some industries or business's that unfortunately ain't going to survive,it's gonna be hard going forward.

In regard to the election, we have NEVER had an election with multiple members of the HOUSE and SENATE voice this much distrust of the result. The simple fact is this. On January 6th it looks like multiple members of Congress will come forward and contest the election because of the EVIDENCE and PROOF that has already been well documented. Thus, it really doesn't matter what I or anyone else in this forum thinks.
Fact checkers politifact and snopes debunk the misleading claim that covid relief bill provides more funding to foreign governments than to Americans. Actually, foreign aid isn't part of covid relief bill. Congress pass a $2.3 trillion spending package. $1.4 trillion for 12 different bills to fund government during 2021 plus a separate $900 billion bill for covid relief. It's the $1.4 trillion part of total package that includes foreign aid which is usually 1% of federal budget.
I feel bad for the American People but I personally would not be mad at Trump vetoing this. I would really like to see a stand alone Covid relief Bill for the American people. And while, as I said above, there is misleading and false information out there, it does not negate the fact that there IS foreign spending in the Bill. And there shouldn't be. There IS funding for the Arts. That stuff is important just substantially less so in the current climate. There is certain things in these spending Bills that are necessary to keep the government running but there is a lot of fat in them as well.
1% of 1.4 trillion is 14 billion. Way too much right now. 14 dollars is too much. Like I said, there is a lot of false info being floated but the fact is any foreign spending, and spending on the arts, every possible extraneous dollar should go towards the American people.

Another 5 out of 5. A lot of the Republican crap in that bill was equally insulting to struggling Americans.
It is unfortunate that the average Joe is not motivated to see what is going on right under our face...but most people are indifferent and will look at the shiny 600 dollar coin and ignore the massive theft to political interests.
Id love to see people care more about issues like this and less about the media throw up that divides this country so rampantly.

I double down on this statement after reading your response. You appear to be incapable of understanding what actually happening, mostly because you can not escape the constant mental state of hate that you exist in.
That is a different topic but no question it is legit. People want to chase the rabbit down the hole on this election farce and will follow their political leader even parting ways with their cold hard cash because the issue of being right and wanting to follow is greater than basic intelligence. If Trump wants to chase the ghost around the last thing he should be doing is suckering the average citizen into footing the bill. It is embarrassing to see a wealthy person with a petty little ego con the average shmo out of their money to chase this waste of time scam he is running.
Trump is a circus leading scammer but people are lacking intelligence so badly they fail to see that he is picking their pockets preying on their political weaknesses. Its sickening.
I can't believe the crapp they threw in this "relief" bill.........no one in either party is exempt from the backlash they're getting for this. They're burying us in debt with our own money. The very purpose of the relief bill ended up being a fukkin footnote among the thousands of pages.
