Hutchinson makes a strong point for republicans own benefit.  But the dark side of the force runs deep in MAGA-land and the racists and fascists are going to stand by their racist fascist leader no matter how many indictments and findings of guilt.  There are few if any republican presidential candidates willing to openly embrace racism and fascism to the degree Trump does so they are determined to stick with him.
