Donald Trump had his worst day yet in his ongoing civil fraud trial in New York on Tuesday at the hands of his own key witness, a former Trump Organization executive who linked the former president directly to the fuzzy math at the center of the case.

The witness was Jeffrey McConney, who was the comptroller and spreadsheet czar at the Trump Org. McConney had been called to the witness stand by the defense, but on cross-examination by lawyers for the state attorney general's office Tuesday, he linked Trump firmly to the conspiracy and fraud counts that have yet to be decided in the non-jury trial.

I hate seeing people cry like that person did on the witness stand , but I understand that the emotion is just too much sometimes , but still , watching someone go through that ordeal with the quivering lips and the salty liquid cascading down their faces which in turn makes the eyes red and swollen , I swear to God it bothers me , let alone the snot bubbles and sinewy booger hammocks that sweep across the nostril from side to side and get stuck there , that’s the worst , because I just want to say something , but it’s awkward , and I can’t just up and stick my finger in there and knock it away ya know , like I’m playing guitar , cuz in the end it’s a nose and not a Fender Stratocaster 

Trump's cases are about truth versus disinformation, proof versus propaganda and court of law versus court of public opinion.  His only defense is to confuse and delay as long as possible.

Donald Trump owes The New York Times and three of its reporters nearly $400,000 in legal fees stemming from a lawsuit the former president filed against the newspaper which a judge dismissed last year.

Justice Robert Reed of the State Supreme Court in Manhattan on Friday saddled Trump with a $392,638.69 bill, ordering the former president to pay the outlet and journalists' accumulated attorney's fees and legal expenses.

Trump sued The Times in 2021, FALSELY accusing the paper and three of its journalists of conspiring with his niece, Mary Trump, to gain access to his tax records for several stories about the then-president's finances which were published by the outlet in 2018.

Mary Trump has been an outspoken critic of her uncle, including accusing him of being an unfit leader.

Re: Judge orders Trump to pay nearly $400,000 to New York Times reporters for his frivolous lawsuit against disclosure of tax documents. This is a victory for freedom of the press!
