@wallstreetcappers
I take what he says because it is all he says as this- the REASON for the exodus in the first place was due to a WOKE LEFTIST Covid booster narrative, that is the topic of the thread not if it is good or bad to reach out to bring people back.
No, I explained that above. However, even if you merge them, the point stands.
100% the difference to me to your faulty narrative is the way he wrote it and concluded it. If he seriously was going down your fake path then the thread would have been that there is an opportunity to increase the enlistment numbers and potentially we could be stronger with our military forces if the booster requirement was lifted or removed and that there was potential to change declining numbers. That is not at ALL what he said, so spin all you want that is not the direction of HIS thread, that is never ever the case. His threads are always left vs right, any partisan way he can try and poke the left side or elevate the right side.
Okay--maybe he can come in and clear up what he meant. But most on the Right clearly see it this way. The numbers and the questionnaires also tend to indicate that.
There is very little doubt what effect the Woke policies have had.
You are so funny even attempting to portray him that he was saying should we reach out to those who did not get the shot...and at the time that requirement was in place that was determined to be the proper approach. BUT as things change so can approaches. Lets not play silly games and try to spin that sundance has a constructive thing to say about making things better and not have it be completely yet another partisan garbage thread...which is exactly all this is.
Not saying he said that -- that was my followup to clarify where I had seen it before and it was the obvious followup to you on it.
It follows naturally if they feel it is worth pursuing them to reenlist -- should they at least admit being wrong? That is not funny -- that is folk's livelihoods.
If someone wants to be unifying and try to be inviting and welcome and considerate there are 100 ways this thread could have gone, he has no desire for that, nor do you really.
Yessir -- you took the thread right to the non-unifying direction with your very first statement.
You chose to see it the way you chose to see it. The you chose to try to cloud it with religion and abortion.
IF YOU wanted to unify -- you could address whether they should have admitted it might have been an overreaction to dismiss folks the way they did.
Will you at least attempt to answer the obvious questions that this brings up?
Was it wrong to have done this in the first place? Because it does now seem to have backfired somewhat?
So, therefore, should they have attempted to bring them back or just forge ahead?
