US Army Begging Soldiers to Come Back!

The United States Army under the leadership of joe biden can not recruit young and fit Americans into its Army. How are they trying to fix this issue? They are sending letters out to wrongfully discharged soldiers who stood up proudly and refused to inject graphene oxide and spike protein into their body! The United States Army is begging highly trained former soldiers to return to an entity that forced them out and onto the street without a severance package!

I saw this the other day also.  The issue is a lot of folks are saying it is not nearly enough without backpay and time served added in.

But it was a complete disaster to have put those folks through that.  But the Left will never completely admit being wrong on this issue.

Maybe this will somehow help the folks that were not in the military that lost jobs in some way as well.  I never see a big class-action or anything monetarily being done.  I would have to be positive and hope the USA and the Western World have learned from this and might not make some of these types of mistakes on something of this sort in the future.

Maybe this will help to start to turn around the perception some folks have of the government and the military after this debacle.

Yes Tommy is an extremist, yes he is being a partisan jerk in the way he is handling his position and yes religion should be out of politics completely.

Here is my thought on the military issue, not that I think sundance made the thread because he cares about the military rather that he can throw more religion garbage and partisan nonsense to his pedigree.

The issue with the military numbers dropping is much more about society and the fact that draconian measures are not being allowed compared to the past, even in the military. You cannot abuse, degrade, embarrass, humiliate, segregate and persecute like the military has to "toughen up" the enlistment members. My brother has been serving as an enlistment rep for the Marines for the last 25 years and he has said over time it has been more and more difficult to get people to enlist. People are not wanting to take the risk of going to war at the compensation being offered AND the toxic environment that existed in the past. Now with the horrid practices being reduced you see the people joining and the level of base being reduced. 

This isnt about Biden it isnt about Trump it isnt about Obama it is about society and the fact that people do not want to be in the military. If this IS a left issue, then it is the complete responsibility of the right to get out there and sign up all the religious loyalists that would make Tommy proud and make George Bush proud, get them in the military and get our numbers UP. Get the soft sissy left losers out of the military and lets get the real men and women, those who want to read the bible and will vote against abortion, get the real Americans in the military and make this country great!

Since 2014, the military has been reporting that because of obesity, adverse criminal history, physical problems, drug use, or lack of a high school degree, only 29% of Americans qualify to join the military without a waiver.

At face value, that alone is an appalling statement about U.S. public health and schooling since military standards don’t require a candidate to be a superman or superwoman, just healthy and educated.

 Did you want to address his post at all?  He was posting about the issue with forcing enlistees to take the Covid shot, which was a Leftist issue.  This post was about trying to recruit those particular folks back now.  A de facto admission of being wrong at the time.

All of you guys on the Left want it to be about whatever you want it to be about, like abortion and religion.

The Left will never admit being wrong but you guys were wrong on the forced Covid shots and that is all his post seemed to be about.

It is very obvious what he is saying.  They forced folks out that would not take the Covid shot.  At the same time they are having a recruitment problem because, in part, of their 'woke policies'.

Now they are trying to at least get those back in that had been in before.  At no point did I take from his post that the forced Covid shot was a 'woke policy'.  They are separate issues altogether --but combined they have caused the lack of recruitment to be an issue.

It is not that hard to comprehend if you focus on his point.

Who cares what your thoughts are about the 'Covid Booster'?  No one asked you that.  I asked you how you felt about them reaching out to the guys/gals they forced out for refusing the Covid shot?

Again try not to confuse the issues to avoid addressing this thread's point.  But a short answer is YES, if it is related to Covid and NO if it is related to longheld and adapted standards before.  Many countries have always required this sort of thing and is was not split along political lines and, by definition, not a Woke issue.

For years, recruiting for US military has been difficult.  Especially in strong job markets.  Normally, 90% of young people are unlikely to consider military as a career path.  US defense department poll reveals the top reasons why young people aren't interested.  70% risk of death or injury.  65% psychological problems.  58% leaving family or friends.  46% other career interests.  40% dislike military life.  36% too long commitment.  35% interference with college education.  33% risk of sexual harassment.

Whenever someone from your side posts a new thread you are not jumping in to say it is another partisan thread -- but when the side opposite you posts one you gleefully do this.  There are far more -- and many redundant -- threads from your side being posted.

That is my issue about that -- but I would not call it 'trying to start a fight'.

 You cant look back and claim that something was a BAD idea, part of the reason why the whole thing happened is the narrative that Trump walked down and that Biden continued down, it was a global narrative and so how can you say it was good or bad? It was decided at that time and that is how it went. Its like me saying the idea of the UN to take land from Palestine and give it to Israel was a bad idea...the way they handled it and it has been an awful idea and should not have happened as it did. I believe that is the case but what the crap good does it do to try and play arm chair QB after the fact? It serves no value or purpose.

When threads contain combative, negative, divisive content those tend to get moved more than threads which are not. That is all there is to discuss. He needs to make threads and replies that keep the rules of the site and are adding value, not dividing and partisan just for the purpose of instigating or provoking.

If the military wants to remove the covid requirements then go ahead but as third mentioned and I mentioned, it is not the miracle pill for the woes of the military. My brother mentioned issues back a decade plus ago, society is not suited for military service as it was say 30-40 years ago. If the military wants current society to enlist then that comes with a dramatic landscape change to what old school politicians and military servicemen consider.

Okay--maybe he can come in and clear up what he meant.  But most on the Right clearly see it this way.  The numbers and the questionnaires also tend to indicate that.

There is nothing wrong with admitting being wrong.  They did this before with vaccines when people started dying, etc.

But sure, the they added this on top of the other things that cut enlistments they can put a decent spin on it.  But admit you were wrong.  Just like they may have to one day admit they were wrong with the Woke policies as well.

 A decade ago he was visiting and made comments about the challenges of recruiting for the military. His job was to go to colleges, high schools and general events set up to generate signing on for the military. 

His view was that the requirements for the military are higher than many meet and the recruiting goals are very difficult to meet. Finding people who are both interested and able to be accepted has been increasingly difficult and I am sure now it is even much worse.

Woke is a silly term in this case since the issues have less to do with partisan positioning and more to do with the lack of interest and capability of citizens to serve in the military. 

What does all of this matter?  And yet they still were able to meet their goals before.

The eligibility numbers even went up from a low around 2009 until 2019.  I think they only poor groups were the mentally-affected ones.

Before, they were needing high school dropouts to meet goals, now a diploma is almost required because they have so many eligible.

What does this have to do with the Covid force outs?  Since recruitment is always 'difficult' according to you -- it is okay to add to the problem by forcing out folks already enlisted and recruited and trained?  I imagine I know your stance on this -- whatever the Leftist politicians want to do is fine with you and you support it and you will find an obscure source online to back it up.

I am not even sure the Woke policies affect enlistment enough to matter.  But why make an already 'difficult' job more 'difficult' by discouraging a few others that might have been interested.  These kids are now exposed to the Woke policies all through school and do not know a world without them.

The Covid policies I am certain dissuaded some.  So why add a double whammy to an already 'difficult' situation.

Then just say, 'Oh well, it has always been difficult.'  

This is an example, of the Left never admitting they were/are wrong on issue(s).

Instead they will doubledown and compound the problem.
