Outrageous that congress republicans want to make disaster relief conditional on political policies.  This isn't about helping victims of disasters.  Risk of proxy war from normalizing withholding of disaster aid.  If democrats retake congress in the future, they can also use blackmail against republican states too.  So disaster aid must stay non-partisan.

Polls show most Americans don't support Trump 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada.  In first term, Peterson institute for international economics found that his tariffs have a negative impact on all income groups in the US.  Tariffs failed to reduce trade deficits and reverse decline in manufacturing jobs.  In addition to higher prices, tariffs can also shrink GDP and increase mortgage rates.  Oddly, Trump claims tariffs are necessary for national security.  However Mexico deal with Biden administration has reduced traffic of migrants and drugs to US.  Also data from US border patrol reveals relatively little illegal immigration and fentanyl from Canada.

Let's not forget Biden was such a bad president that his own party threw him out.

Kamala had to hide because she had no idea what she was ever talking about.  Couldn't talk to reporters.  Biden never did either.

FBI agents association and others filed lawsuits against justice department to protect the identities of thousands of FBI agents against retaliations from Trump and supporters.  Under Trump, FBI agents who risk their lives protecting US from criminals could have their careers jeopardized simply for doing their jobs.  Current scrutiny of FBI is unusual  because agents do not select the cases they are assigned to work on and no evidence of misconduct of any agent.  Duty of independent justice department is supposed to  be loyalty to the law and not the president.
