Senator John Kennedy wants people on Medicaid to "get off your ass" and get jobs.
Some of the most common disabilities among Medicaid recipients are: Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease & traumatic brain injuries.
I don't know about you but I think people in the categories noted above would love to be in the workforce if they could. We should be looking at the "generational" abuse of Medicaid & get those asses back to work.
Gotta stop using that hugeeee broad brush to paint & splatter everyone when trying to make a point.
As far as Senator Kennedy, he should try to fix his own state of Louisiana with 44% of his citizens on Medicaid which is a little over 2 million.

Under the law, illegal to let Commerce department takeover USPS which is an independent agency created by congress. American postal workers union opposes privitization of USPS which would be of no benefit to Americans. Instead postal rates would be higher and service worse especially for rural delivery. In 2020, Trump wanted to dismantle USPS to prevent voting by mail.
If that does happen, people will go absolutely nuts!

Does not matter at this point, Vance is a real tool that really seems to believe in nothing but a paycheck which about covers the new state of American politics. Have to wonder if those in Louisiana know how kennedy feels about the people putting him in office, not that in a bunch of places it does not seem to matter.

I met a guy who immensely supports Trump, and probably also voted for Trump back in November. He is getting Medicaid now, not sure silly ideology is more crucial over basic necessity for him. Probably there are thousands and thousands Trump voters fit into this same foolish ideology as the guy that I met in a golf range.
How many federal government employees voted for Trump/Musk back in November and got kicked out from their jobs now, only a few of them? I doubt it.
