If OPEC was to ramp up production and start flooding the markets with cheap oil again then pump price would fall like a rock here and inflation in many economic sectors would decline significantly. OPEC is the key. And right now they refuse to budge.

OPEC is the key?? No, OPEC is ONE KEY. Not the only key. Ask yourself this, "what happens when China eventually opens its' economy back up?" If OPEC does not increase production guess what happens to price of oil (moon) then the inflationary affect of this. Or, OPEC does increase but not to the level to balance out China reopening, net zero or net minimal effect does nothing to help inflation.

Republicans are bad for the economy. Actually, democrats have been extraordinary in creating jobs, reducing federal deficits and enhancing US economic growth. History shows 10 of the last 11 recessions started under republicans. Trump recession was the worst since the great depression. During the 7 decades before Trump, annual GDP growth averages 2.5% under republicans and 4.3% under democrats. Under Biden administration, US has more jobs created than the last 3 republican administrations combined. 2022 unemployment rate is the lowest in almost 50 years.
In contrast, Trump mismanagement of pandemic crisis, support for Putin and protection of big oil companies create conditions that drive prices up. So hypocritical of republicans to blame Biden for inflation. Furthermore, republicans oppose every measure of Biden administration to reduce inflation and help Americans. Clearly, history, facts and logic show democrats are better for US economy.
