I think the last second loss to Dallas hurt the Bengals more than some feel.That was a win they needed to instill confidence for the playoff hopes they envisioned and now a loss in Phi could have them packing for the season.

The Eagles are living the'Christmas Carol' with visits from the past,present and future.The past and the cruelty imposed on the fans during the overrated Vick years,the present with the play of Foles who is progressing weekly with a two TD in 4 min victory in Tampa and the future with what Foles may become.

I'll take the points and ride Foles and predict the outright win and send Cincy home with the thoughts of what could have been once again...unless Dal beats Pit and they get another breath.

Foles for Presidente. Eagles are now soaring, next year the super bowl. Might as well begin the hype. I think the win spills over to an upset win at home vs the Bengals.Yes, I do know the birds are 0-8 ats last 8 and 0-6 ats last 6 at home vs the Bengals. They also are moneyburners as non-conference dogs of 9<pts. On the other side the Bengals are losers vs teams coming off a su dog win. Bengals failed to bounce back againt Cleveland off a su favorite loss this year. I fell it happens again in the City of Brotherly Love.

Eagles - Over

I love that the public is riding Cinci...Most people are saying that Cinci "needs" this game for playoff contention, which is true. However, the eagles will be motivated from hearing that from the media all week. However, I dont think A.J. Green will have a problem racking up yards, he'll be matched up against the most over-rated Corner in the NFL in Nnamdi Asomugha. But hang on here, with the eagles having nothing to lose, and playing spoiler roll, I see philly winning this game. They can play at ease now instead of always trying to live up to the pressure thats put on them in the beginning of the year when everyone on the team is healthy. Because they're paper champs, but not now, like i said, the whole team is injured. We all remember what the eagles did last year down the stretch, not saying that'll happen again, but a pretty good chance they'll cover from here on out. Foles is gonna play his heart out, along with the rest of the team, for the rest of the season. Just when ya think Cinci is ready to put on the big-boy pants, they shrink. I'm also not a fan of the whole East Coast traveling West, or West Coast traveling East...Good Call Everyone on the Steelers game!!! Yea Right. But Cinci traveling after such short rest can play a factor here, minor factor....But dont take this post TOO seriously, I mean I am an eagles fan, so.....what do I know?. EAGLES +3.5... GL All

Cincinnati over Philidelphia + Bowl Parlay!

Must consider Cincinnati a major play here, and able to cover up to 8 plus points!  Both teams close on offense, but Philidelphia allowing 32 ppg. with Cincy only allowing 12 ppg. last three!  And Cincinnati now 5-1 vs. point spread, but Eagles only 2-6 vs. spread last 8 games!

And now, Philidelphia QB Michael Vick (2165 YDs and 11 TDs), and RB LeSean McCoy (985 YDs) both out for Thursday night game!  Cincinnati 4-0 vs. point spread last 4 meetings vs. Philidelphia!

Will look for Cincy's major pass rush (42 sacks) to break through Eagle's weak offensive line, and cause big trouble for QB Foles!  Cincinnati QB Andy Dalton (3186 YDs and 25 TDs) should have no problem putting up plenty of early points, and covering the Vegas spread.

 - - Colonel, I'm with you on the score, and the home dog win. Just got a gut feeling about the Eagles this week. Over a decade of McNabb & Vick, I don't think the Eagles opponents are used to seeing an actual smart textbook QB who can actually throw, and chooses to sit in the pocket and throw first, second, and third choice, and scramble last..... Hopefully "The Dogbeater Experiment" is over, and the Eagles choose the correrct path for their future (ahem, but, it is still the Eagles).........

Also, the Eagles aren't 0-8 ats their last 8 - - they've covered the last 2 - - and who stepped in at QB for those games? You got it. Plus, the last time these 2 teams met was the classic McNabb "I thought overtime was forever" F*** up - so you can't judge them on that either.....

What happened to the "Matchup" boards???  Can't find them.

Even my "Favorite Places" takes me to Covers main page, instead of the NFL and College "Matchup" discussion boards!

Had to come back to this board using "My Space"and clicking on view posts.  Did Covers take the "Matchup" boards off all together????

Hi entreprenuer01. Just a note because I believe Covers.com may have destroyed the Matchup boards, and taken them off their website!  I can't even begin to understand any "human mind" that would do that!

You said you're 10-3 in your last three betting games.  I happen to have the exact same 10-3 record on My Space page.

You got me thinking because I hope no one uses other people's so-called good records like mine, to follow me and bet on what I say (even lost to the Pats Monday Night).

But one's "record" has no meaning at all with sports betting!  Here's why:

My "record is 10-3.  I bet $300 per game on my ten winners and win $3,000.  BUT, on my three losing games I might have bet $5,000 per game!  So I would have WON $3,000 but LOST $15,000 with my three losses.

So with my 10-3 record, I would still be $12,000 in the red!

And someone with a 3-10 record that "appears" to be a losing record, might very well have made $12,000 with their so-called "losing record."

Glad you mentioned that because I see people on the boards putting people down for their "percentages" and "records" of wins and losses.  But now they can see that it has no meaning whatsover when it comes to sports betting.

Did you morons find the matchup listings yet? It's right under the NFL listing at the top of the homepage. I wouldn't listen to either of you if you can't figure out that simple fact.

It's not very often the birds will lose 5 in a row at home. It might be Thrusday night partytime at xfinity outside the Linc tomorrow night. That just might be the place to be my friend
