During their current 7 game winning streak, they have trailed in 6 of those games & in the first meeting it was only 10-6 at halftime until Denver exploded in the 3rd quarter. John Fox is GREAT at halftime adjustments but the Broncos have played very sluggish in the first half in nearly all their games this year & it is going to catch up with them again like it did in the beginning of the season. Most people thought the Broncos would cover in KC but they didn't because Prater is struggling & missed 2 field goals. With a huge game in Baltimore next week I expect Denver to not take the Raiders as serious as they should. Broncos will definitely win but I got Oakland +10.5 & the under
So, you have watched your team reel off 7 in a row and now you are going to take the points and the Raiders............it's what true fans do right?????......bet against their team.............true fan. I am a fan as well duh and when I don't like them in a situation I don't play them. I like this situation. Denver

If Denver let's this thing stay close it would give no merit to them being a serious Super Bowl contender. Is that the way they want to be perceived as WEAK? So what do you think?

I have nothing productive to say about Oakland, other than they are probably the play here. This nationally televised game should be like their Super Bowl. Plus they just lost to the Browns at home. Things can't get much worse.

Yes, unfortunately, they can......for Raider backers. If I were a bookie I'd give you Raiders +13 @ +130

Maybe your right about the Raiders. I think the return of McFadden would be a much needed boost because they have looked dreadful without him. To be honest, I don't think they've won a game without him since the injury. Picking up Palmer last year was such a mistake too. He is so immobile and is so hit or miss.
I love the Doctor's angle regarding double digit divisional home dogs, and you are certainly betting with the house by taking Oakland. But as they say, there's a fine line between being a genius and a jackass.
Still have to give it some thought...might be a game time decision tomorrow. For me, it's Oakland or no play at all. My inner wise guy would never allow me to take Denver in this spot.

Gold Sheet Runs with "Suspicious" Denver:

Denver 32 at Oakland 15  "Any takers for Oakland? Raiders' SU and spread losing streak...now at 5, with rumors that Mark Davis might channel his late papa AL and hit the "eject" button on first-year HC Dennis Allen, whose familiarity with former employer Denver (where he was defensive coordinator LY) sure didn't help in Oakland's 36-6 loss at Invesco Field Sept. 30.

Leaky Raider secondary (24 TDP allowed) becomes even bigger liability vs. on-fire Peyton Manning, who was 30 for 39 for 338 YP in the first meeting, when he had enough time in the pocket to film another Buick commercial.  Denver remains motivated for chance at first-round playoff bye.  TV--NFL NETWORK"

That's nice. Real nice.  But "on-fire" Manning now 0-3 vs. point spread last three games.  And Peyton Manning passing for 995 yards and putting up six touchdowns in one game, isn't worth a nickel in Chinese money.  If Denver was a 38 point favorite, the only thing that matters is them winning the game by 39 points!  True, Manning might bury the spread tomorrow night by 27 points, but I won't be watching to find out.

Binger1's comment above is 100% correct!  She was even brave enough to say she lost both games on Denver, something only one in 50,000 people are willing to do.  And both of those games were suspicious!  Denver was "frozen solid" for two hours at 17 to 9 in the KC game...and the game ended right there, two points under the spread!  I feel for binger1 because she had her hard-earned money stolen from her...as far as I'm concerned!

And with San Diego, Denver "froze itself solid" at 31 points. And with less than two minutes in the game, San Diego scored a touchdown and covered the spread...by one half of a point.  Denver favored by 7.5 lost by exactly 7 points.

Respectfully disagree with mgmprofits in post #43, above, that it's 100% fixed.  But mgmprofits no "conspiracy theorist."  He knows exactly what he's talking about!  And there are two, three or four teams that must be put on a "No Bet" list. And Denver's one of them.

Vegas line people don't carry football lines in one hand and Bibles in the other.  Their goal is to take the public down for tens of billions of dollars.  And a sports bettor's goal is to dodge their bullets, and try to pick winners.  And that's not easy.

I'm a raiders fan fellas and I gotta be honest with you we are beyond terrible.  Raiders covered as an underdog 1 punk behind time this year and it was against an undefeated Falcons team on the road.  And the only reason they covered was because they were double digit underdogs and coming off a bye.  Remember its a short week for oak too. Losing to the Browns , yeah the browns. the trend to me in my opinion in the last 3 games is that vs a capable quarterback and receiving core Brees threw all over us 38-10, Cincy threw the ball anywhere they wanted 34-10 was the result.  This last game we lost by 3 by the browns and to a mediocore rookie 20-17.  Vs Payton and the broncos the score would will be like the saiints score 38-10. We are getting murdered on thursday night remember we are still the most hated team in football........tuck rule anyone?

Oakland is awful, but so were the other large home underdogs who have been covering at a very high rate these past few seasons.  If I had a clue as to what the total would be I would tease the Raiders to 17.5, but I don't, so I'll play the 10.5 and hope Palmer limits his interceptions.

Sorry for the extras. 3 Team teaser.  Taking Denver Broncos-pk, Xavier-4.5 and Syracuse-13.  With Xavier and Syracuse and home I like my chances of Payton and the broncos winning straight up.  Good Luck everyone.

some of you people are a joke with posting waste of money teasers.  grow some balls and make a real pick and bet.  teasers are a waste of time and money, a fools bet thats why they have them.  You cant pick teasers on here for these contest either so why post that kind of stupid betting.

Dont see DEN doing more than running the ball on a short week against a team like OAK.  under 48 and take the points, everyone betting DEN like they need to win big.  Manning is not going to come out throw 40 times on a short week at his age in a game that really means nothing to them

    +10.5 and under 48  24-16 DEN

Is it just me, or is it completely obvious that this sport is 100% rigged?

BTW, Denver would cover the -10.5 if it wasn't rigged. But since it's rigged, I guess Oakland covers this one. Remember last week in the KC/DEN thread I predicted outright what would happen BEFORE the game started? I don't think I was psychic...I predicted KC would take the lead in the game, with T/O's from Peyton Manning...and I saw on replay that's what they friggin did.

misleading lines designed to trick bettors and propaganda through media lead people to lose and call rigged or fixed.  I do feel that games are handicapped further by the league through the refs like all pro sports. true insider info never hits the general public until all bets are in and the game starts.  lol
