I been reading your picks on comments on these threads, and you attack other people's post by saying they have no football logic or what not.  I believe your win percentage has to be less than 10 percent. Every game you took OVER went UNDER, and the only game u took UNDER (cowboys jax) it went OVER, and u posted 4-5 threads on that commenting how stupid people are.   Now I read "take the over and indy damn near lock"  I doubt you are due to be right.  Ill go houston and under.  I am not so much just talking smack but more asking... i hope you dont bet on this games or at least have a better hobby

I absolutely agree with you on the under. Not only 75% + of games on sunday were way under but now that these two teams coming off a bye only gives the defense that much more time to prepare and execute against an offense once played this year already. Offense on both teams are battered but which team doesn't have a beat up offense. I can't even count how many starting QB's are out for one thing. 5 from the Giants Defense alone.

In this game, Dallas Clark is out and won't be there on 3rd downs so I say 25% less chance of conversion for the Colts and thats good enough for me. 20 plus 3rd down conversions is an average for teams that like to drive the ball in increments such as the colts. Houston playing very well and have won all their road games so far this year is not to be forgotten.

the things is 75%  of the public are thinking about the issue of the Colts key player will be out and hammering HOUSTOn just like  last night game PIT/Saints( we all see  what happen) as long the Start QB is playing. and boy oh boy this is not just any QB,, ITS fucken P.Manning..also this why they have back player in play.

im liking that  80% cover are on HOUSTON

The over is 10 out of the last 11 meetings of these two teams and six of the last seven meetings in Indy.

808-- yes they did win both games ont he road..no real task as they played Oakland (4-4) and Washington/OT (4-4)...the stat I courious about is who and when is the last team to sweep Manning???? love love love the under- as history shows, the 2nd games play opposite the 1st...Indy and under....

Texans +5.5

Too many injuries for the Colts here to be giving 5.5 to a very good Texans team.  Texans play well on the road and should be able to keep this game close and maybe even win SU.

Im liking Houston's rushing against the Indy D that gave up almost 300 yds the first game, and the fact that Peyton's receivers are second string.  It's gotta be a close game, possibly a shootout.                      Teasing HOU +11.5, OVER 45

I don't know where you're getting your numbers from, but what I see is the public on the Colts and the over. I'll take Houston and the under.

Once that's established ...

If Houston can be in the game, and either keep it close or be in lead, they have to commit to running Foster or his backup at least half of the plays. I think Houston realizes this and will try to do this.

If the first two things happen, then Houston should be feeling good, and they should use play action to good deep and score. This, of course, won't necessarily happen.

I posted earlier in the thread, but I wanted to add some more thoughts.  Will the Colts D stack the box and try to stop the run?   I think Bathea (sp?) is a decent safety, but aren't the Colts down to their third stringer at the other safety position?

I see the Texans running the ball fairly well, Indy moving their safeties into the box to help with run support, and Schaub going to some play-action on first down. Could be a huge day for Andre Johnson.  Pick your poison. 

I like it at +5.5, I love it at +6.

This is tough...

I look at a common opponent....The Giants played both teams on their home field...Colts blew them out, Texans got blown out.  That would make me want to lean towards Indy.

But on the other side, Houston already beat Indy, the Colts are missing key players, and conference games are always close.

Having a hard time here.

I'll second that as well.  I kinda do like Houston myself so it would be good to know that homerism is not a factor in this selection.  My initial lean would be to take that as well.

IT MAY SOUND STUPID BUT IMO THE LINE LOOKS PRETTY LOW INVITING INDY SUPPORTERS, BUT FOR SOME REASON WITHOUT MCAFEE THE INDY PUNTER IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN TONITES GAME !

I believe with the Colts injuries on both sides of the ball tonight, regardless of their bye week, will be a huge key factor. The Texans on the other hand are fully healthy and rested up. I really do believe without any homerism involved that Houston will win str8 up tonight but will have the insurance in the spread just incase there are any other injuries that happen tonight during the game. BOL bro. . .

Colts will be facing a Texans defend that ranks last in NFL, allowing 411 yards per game. " We are pretty familiar with them, "Manning s Said" We know how important this game it will be".
