The Keys to the Game (Why I like and Don't like Saints)

+ Better coaching, I love betting on S. Payton when he has plenty of time to make an offensive game plan (He can really exploit defenses)

+ Better Team Chemistry : Last year Minn was delighted to have Favre, this year even though they are acting thrilled to have him back I would imagine the act has grown old. I could see Minn not gelling this season just because of the Favre vs Childress and Favre missing another training camp. Minn will be a disappointment this season! Saints will challenge for another SB run. 

+ Minn has injury problems (WR's very thin, never know Harvins game health, No receivers have stepped up)

+ Home field advantage always seems to benefit the Saints

+ Saints love to force turnovers and Brett Favre loves to throw up gifts (Not last season but any other season) Oh yea and Peterson can't hold on to the ball

- D. Sharper is out but can Minn exploit it? Sharpers sub was a 1st round pick last season for a reason (Malcolm Jenkins) 

- Minn still has solid RB ( I think his initials are AP)

- Minn has a solid D

This year is gonna be crazy... In my opinion, I think that Minn will put up a fight, but after its all said and done NO get it done by more than a TD. with the line sitting at 4.5 I feel very confident taking the Saints here. Favre looks less than spectacular... NO all the way.

Sorry but I don't see a chance in he!! that Minny gets it done in the dome.

The team is more overrated this year with an older, coming off a bad wheel Favre. At 4.5 every book on the planet would like you to think that this is the NFC Championship Vikes, I just don't see it. Also not to mention that while Peterson is a beast, he is reckless with the ball and the Saint's D loves those situations.

I do see a Saint's team with a home crowd cheering on the champs and Brees, well........being Brees. Saints may not roll all over them, but they cover. Saints by a TD at a min.

I'm leaning Saint's and that's probably my play. Might take the over as well.

LOOK FOR FAVRE TO GET SMACKED IN THE MOUTH ONCE AGAIN. WITHOUT HIS #1 WR WHO KNOWS WHAT FAVRE WILL DO. RELY ON AP AND IT WON'T BE ENOUGH TO GET IT DONE. BREES AND THE SAINTS TO GET IT DONE, AND PROVE THEMSELVES!

New Orleans will be ready to roll.  I like the QB matchup.  I like the WR matchup.  D edge to Minny, as well as RB, but I like the superdome to be a house of horrors like it was last winter.  Fumbles, picks and a few vodoo things go on down in the city of spirits!!

Sharper injury overstated.Full squad returns

Saints exit the tunnel like the Coor's bullet train.

Ask Tom Brady he was 'ready' too.

Minny's offense not yet 'in synch'- simply will get outscored here.

Last 10 super bowl champs have won their season opener and i can't think of a bigger home field advantage than the Superdome.

Also, Nastyness, Walker was cut on Sept. 5th.

Ace, I'm assuming this is some sort of joke.  Brees is clearly playing.

As for your critique, well, it is lacking.  Chester Taylor is gone, yes.  And in comes a stud from Stanford - Toby Gerhart!  Vikings missing #1 receiver, yes.  In comes Greg Camarillo from the Dolphins who didn't drop a pass all year and runs routes like a pro.

Last year the line opened at NO -4', moved down to -3' and then settled at -4.  Minny covered.  This year the line opened at NO -4, moved up to -4', sat for awhile and now is up to -6 in some places.  Still feel confident?  Oh and the total opened at 54 and is now 48'.

So, the same exact New Orleans team opened a half point less than last year against a perceived lesser Minny team.

This is what I do, I read lines, I handicap.

A lot of rust on Favre and the Minny O (IMO)  Saints come out slinging the ball....saints win by 10
