Last gm was played in Jan, and went overtime, with Saints winning 31-28. Minn says they would have won except for turnovers 5 to 1 and yes Minn had more total yds 475 to 257 and 1st downs 31 to 15.
Farve turns 41 this Oct, had ankle surgery and didn't decided to play until 3 weeks ago, skipping training camp...again. Last time the Saints got to him 16 times, and he can't be any faster or mobile with a bad ankle. The backups are Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson.
In general, the defenses are farther along early in the season than the offenses, and the play calling has to be more ball control running than passing.
The O/U is one of the highest this week at almost 50. That's 3 tds and a FG for each team, 2 scores every quarter.
Taking the under
and maybe the Vikings ML small because they run better than the Saints

Vikings at Saints -5.5 O/U 49.5

Safest best is to tease it 6 points, and you could really make a strong, safe play for either side (Saints +1 or Vikings -10.5). And barring Farve being knocked out with an ankle injury, the Over is a lock then at 43.5.
Plus you get 10 to 9 on your money back. $100 pays $90
I really like the Saints in a shootout, riding momentum from the crowd and superbowl high. Saints 34-31
6 point teaser Saints +1 Over 43.5

I like New Orleans in a 7-9 pt win at home, but was afraid to put my money where my brain was. Something scares me about this game but I don't know why? Farve had to be begged to come back. Minn's receivers are not in the shape they were in last year and Bree's...is still Bree's

Dude Greg Camarillo caught only 8 passes last year thats it. He is 28 years old and has caught only 113 passes is his entire year. We all know what sydney rice did last year his absence is real big hole and chester taylor will be missed.
Game is a tough call minny has no pass defence and yes I know they did hold up against the saints last year. Can they do it twice in a row maybe. There is easier money on other games that are a gift.
Ok listen, I'm not going to debate this with you. Camarillo had a torn ACL in '08 and caught 105 passes for 1165 yards and 2 TDs over the past 2 years. Oh and he didn't drop 1 single pass last year. Tell that to Owens or Williams. All that with Pennington and Henne as the QB's. Rice was nothing before Farve, nothing. He had a nice career at South Carolina but was a bust in the NFL.
This is what I do, this is my second professional income in handicapping. I know what I am talking about.

Defending champs @ home... I'm not going to bet against them!!
I think this is the season Farve is either going to get hurt, or fall apart. Last year was a cinderella story for Farve. I like Farve, but Adrian Peterson is going to have to carry this team.
Big play on the Saints, -6.
Good Luck to All!!
