rule # 1,never bet against brady getting points when they are the so called underdog!!!    also if the pats d can get to manning and hit those soft legs its over.

For all of you that have. Patriots +4.5. You are in great shape for Sunday.
1) you can trust your coaching staff.
2) you can rely on your QB to make good decisions.
3) your trio of running backs rotate efficiently.
4) mental mistakes will be at a minimum.
5) the deep and skillful secondary will help keep manning throwing short passes.
6) Warm weather affects both teams equally. So if Payton plays better, so will Brady and everyone else. 
7) when the patriots lose, is it by much? No. Super Bowl losses, were they a blowout? 4 or less both times. 
8) word on the street, Bundchen promised Brady his reward for a fourth ring shall be her and 3 other Angels of his choice that night.

                         I respect your ability to be on the right side of an NFL game more often than not.  However this is just speculative theory on your part.  
1) manning is not the only athlete in this game with endorsement deals in place.   Drew breese is out and NyQuil adds will still run. So if Payton loses are they going to stop running papa johns adds? No.
2)  if were going with speculative theory.   I would argue that nfl is now Americas # 1 watched sport.   After the Boston bombing the bruins were in the finals and lost.  Then redsox get in the World Series and won.  Now the patriots get in and win the Super Bowl.  Take that terrorist.    
2b) 2010 tsunami in japan.  Who won the woman's World Cup? Japan.
       Gulf oil spill disaster.  Who wins the Super Bowl? Saints.
       Newyork and new jersey are hit with hurricanes in 2012.  Where's the Super Bowl this year?  Jersey.

Gulp... Hate to say.. Denver covers with ease Sunday. The Pats have come to the end of their run this year. I applaud there efforts after all the crap that went on this year... Injuries.. Hernandez.. Welker gone.. Etc... 
   The game.. I see the pats struggling to score with Denver. I think the pats struggle to score TDs in the red zone and settle for field goals. Also Brady has a history of throwing picks in AFC Championship games. 7 in last 3... (Somebody check my numbers)
   I want the pats to get to the bowl, but it Peyton's time. He has too many weapons... They are at home... I think they roll... I think they cover.  With the pats going to try to run the ball and keep mannings time on the field to a minimum... I like the under... 
   One question... What would Brady have done with Manning's receiving core and vise versa? I think Brady throws for 60 TDs. 
     GLTA... Gonna miss football...

Well said. Going to add 6 point tease with the Over as well. Brady will pick on DB Jammer all day for an extra 3 TD's. The ex-Charger is a washed up bum that can't cover anybody in the NFL. Those two other db's for Denver will hurt their pass defense and Jammer will be waived right after the game win they lose to the Patriots. You heard it here first, boys. lol

Bottom line is........ Denver has NO Pass Defense !  Hello ? "You play to win the game." Both of Denver's secondary players are out ! DB Chris Harris(out), LB Von Miller(out), S Rahim Moore (out)? Quentin Jammer(Bum), Champ Bailey(Bum).

Not only will it be HIGH scoring for NE, they may win SU !

Why are people saying the Pats wont be able to score with Denver???Denver scored 24 not 50 last week against SD.Pats have hit their stride and are well out of their mid season slump. I was at Denver vs NE earlier this year and the Pats gave them 2 scores via fumbles early in the game. UHQB said it Denvers got no pass D,Brady will have a field day and if Denver drops guys back in coverage Blounts gonna hammer them.Hes a beast. Brady would be happy throwing for 20 yards as long as they get the W.

anybody remember pats broncos matchup when belicheck intentionally saftied the ball? Ingenious.... I won $500 on that (I was small time during those years). Plummer was the QB, Clinton portis ganetime decision.... Pats were down by a few points backed up in their own zone.... Instead of punting, the hoodie safeties the ball, kicks off, stops them 3 and out, Brady gets the ball with under 2 min. Td Dion branch.

now obviously that has no bearing on this game.... But belicheck really is a genius and there is a huge coaching mismatch.

Blount is going to be an exfactor. Just another example of a player leaving a team and finding success with the pats.

Moreno and ball are known to put the ball on the ground.

kicking is in the favor of pats as prater missed 2 last week and gotkowski is surgical.

After embarrassing myself by taking Carolina last week, I'd like a chance to redeem myself. 

Much will be said about history here. Many of you have probably heard the following on ESPN, the NFL Network, and talk radio everywhere:

Tom Brady and Belichick are so clutch in the playoffs. 
Brady knows how to win the big game. 
Brady has Peyton's number.
Peyton is the best REGULAR SEASON quarterback of all time and Brady is the best POST SEASON quarterback of all time.
Manning chokes in the big game.

While some of those comments might be justified, the fact remains it takes more than a good QB to decide the outcome of a game. It takes a team effort in all 3 phases of the game. For much of Peyton's career, he had to carry the Colts in the post season. During this time, the AFC East was a joke of a division with the Patriots emerging as the only real threat every year. Consequently, the Pats have played most of their playoff games in the confines of Gillete Stadium. In fact, the Pats haven't played a playoff game on the road in 8 years. 

Public perception is that Peyton isn't clutch in the postseason, and that Brady usually wins the big game. That's why bettors are chomping at the bit to take the Pats in this spot (getting 6). "Brady as an underdog in the playoffs?? No way he loses!!"

But when you take a look at the facts, Peyton has usually been on inferior teams and on the road. I strongly believe that the shoe is on the other foot this time around. I think the Broncos are better on both sides of the ball. Belichick is always great at devising a game plan to shut down a team's best weapon, but the Broncos are the most loaded offense we've seen in quite some time. There's no way to single out one player and say that it's key to stopping them because they have so many ways to put up points. Defensively, I'd say they are pretty equal, but it's a little easier to stop the run when you're playing at Mile High with the crowd at your back. 

And all this talk about quarterbacks, I forgot to mention that the Broncos offensive line dominated the Pats front-7 in Foxboro. Moreno ran the ball like a wildebeest, going for 234 yards on over 30 carries (and that was with Brandon Spikes in the lineup).

I think this time around, the Sheriff and the Broncos will find a way to get the job done and represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. I'm predicting a last minute 3rd down conversion by Peyton after the Pats burn their 3rd and final timeout, and then a Peyton kneel down.

Ultimately, Brady will be forced into one sided pass attack.
This will be the first time in seven years that Pats will be playing a conference game on the road.
Been 8 years since they won a road playoff game.Pats have played only 2 playoff teams on the road this year,losing to both Bengwads n' Panthers...
