All of you that are making comparisons on the Bronco/SD game have to realize that they are divisional foes and it was the 3rd time they had played this year.  Go check NE losses.  Divisional foe losses to JETS and Dolphins (should have been twice).  Obviously a familiarity factor needs to be accounted for.  As much as New England should be praised for their year and what they have accomplished; obviously their coaching is superior, I just don't see how they can overcome the Broncos on the road with a running back rotation (one who was ran out of Tampa Bay) and a WR core of virtual no-namers.  Bottom line when  its do or die I'm taking the team with better skilled players at home.  Broncos will look at film of how they absolutely worked NE on the road for a half and learn from there meltdown.  Vegas is begging you take Pats, and the squares will oblige and Vegas will keep building big beautiful buildings

I'm confused. Tom Brady has been to 7 AFC championships, and won 5 of them. Explain yourself a little more, your numbers aren't adding up

Patriots demolished the colts they are going with the same motivation from that game Denver struggled bit that's there rivals why do you think everyone took the dolphins against the patriots there rivals but denvers defense allowed a comeback for the chargers but they were able to hold them off I don't see a easy win for the patriots patriots will put up 30 or more in this game and patriots running game is giving brady big plays to make Patriots and the over not risking the ml you manning is the most unpredictable qb in the nfl

First off I just want to say thanx to all the cappers on here that made some strong points like SAMMY,QUAD and D01JNICHOL to name a few. And if you read your points below I wasn't trying to rip you off. I'm just making a summary of what I took from this thread after weeding through a bunch of nonsense and if you do see something I plagiarized from you please consider it a thank you for your input.


I see people giving a ton of love to Billy B and Brady for their postseason success and rightfully so. But in many of the past it was Peyton carrying a much weaker overall team. While the PATS top to bottom were better overall and had enough to get the W.

Now I think that has changed somewhat with DEN being a stronger team overall than Peyts had with INDY. And now you can add in the thin mile high air and raucous crowd that helps out their run defense quite a bit.


I also keep reading about how SD is not as good as NE and the BOLTZ covered so NE will easily cover and likely win. Well I have a couple counter points regarding those angles. One is that DEN should have had at least another 10 points on the board. But the wind was a huge factor and has more of an effect on the passing game (which is DEN's true weapon)  as much or more than any other precipitation. And the weather is expected to be as good as it gets this time of year.


The other factor is that SD is a divisional foe and teams are built to beat other. And last week was the 3rd time these teams had met this season so they know each other very well. Just look at NE who on paper is much better than both NYJ and MIA yet they lost to both of those teams...on the road where they are this weekend.


So all in all I think I'll be on DEN -5 for a unit as well as -2.5 -175 for another. And then my largest play will be DEN +4.5 to the OVER 46.5 for a couple unit

7 or so games decided by 4 pts or less between Brady/Manning. 1 game decided by a touchdown and a few other games where the winning team win by double digits.

I still see this as a close game. pats running game at full strength, dinking and dunking for 1st down yardage and control the clock. Den offense will likely do the same but have more opportunities to throw down field. I think Welker and Julius Thomas will have big games.

 Broncos win by 4, Pats cover & Broncos are super bowl bound! but since the Pats are the big ML on the board this week why not put a little bit down just in case of a classic Manning slip up...

like I said previously, I'd rather like to see Manning get another Super Bowl ring....but gotta earn it against his longtime nemesis...

Guys the thread is great a lot of good insight by u all but as for me I'm siding with the better QB on the better team at home Peyton punches his ticket to paradise n by paradise I mean a hopefully weather affected Super Bowl gl every1 Den -5 O 56.5

Let me tell you how sorry the Indianapolis Colts will feel when they realize they could have beaten New England if they'd have had Manning and probably have won a Super Bowl to boot! I guess that's ok they will have Luck for another 14 years

i thought about this for over an hour - im taking denver on the ml - i just think a late td by ne could get a backdoor cover with -5 - similar to what happened when they played sd - i think denver with be able to run the ball some also with moreno and ball and the other guy i cant think of right now - if i was going to bet it -5 i would probably take ne - i have much respect for brady and belichek (sp?)

never posted on this site before,....been betting for years,...I don't take advice from the free picks offered here at Covers Experts,..I've been moitoring their free picks and anyone of us could probably do better,...But it blows my mind when i read through these threads and guys are telling each other off and getting ignorant with their posts,..The way I look at it,..we are all in it to stick it to the bookies , and try not to lose our hard earned money,...I still haven't pulled the trigger on either game yet ...Personally I think Denver -5.5 is making me over think this game too much ....I'll wait til the last minute and probably take the points and the over in the Denver / New England game ....Now thats just my opinion on this game,..cuz I won't be touching the NFC Championship game,...I hope we all have a good day tomorrow,and wish you guys luck,..but, keep in mind that we ae all on the same team when it comes to wagering on sports,..so lets help each other out,...cuz it's on to college basketball after the NFL season is over ....Good Luck tomorrow

Boston Forever you are a embarrassment for Patriots fans.Stick to running your mouth with your Red Sox. The I.R. said Tom Brady missed practice Wednesday with the flu.I hope he is fully recovered by Sunday.I like the Pats. +5.5 in a game where the the officials don't blow calls like at the end of the Carolina game.
