Regarding the weather - why does bad nasty weather ultimately result in the Under?  Can you tell me how they go hand in hand? 
 
So the QB can't pass the ball as good...
 
...but the CB's cant cut with the WR's as well
...the OL and LB's cant cut back when the RB cuts back
...more turnovers = more points typically
 
I sometimes think that nasty weather might mean MORE points if anything - anyone have any sort of factual trends?

          I'm new to this site and....curious is there any way to block to report these nuisance thread posters like mbanglaw and fpronk.  They're both clearly junior high school kids that won't stop bickering about whose won more!  Grow up you guys!  I know some good cappers and the ones I know are MODEST.  The way you two are going on makes me think you guys are both big losers.  There should a site for the preschoolers to go on argue about everything and another fot the people that are serious about  games and want to win $ from the bookies.  Nice video by the way break a bookie.  i'm seriously considering the under now.

im not too concerned with the weather...its drizziling right now and getting colder...overall i think the better play is to take the jets but i do believe that there will be some decent points on the board tonight.  I just feel like this weather favors farve since i dont THINK that Cassel has played in a game with this type of weather.....does anyone know?

Meanwhile, it's not raining yet here in Boston.  It does feel like rain is in the air,  but I don't see it being a washout kind of game.

BTW It's funny how in a AFC East rival game with so much riding on the outcome for both teams and fans. That the J-E-T-S & Pats fans are not the ones bashing each other, sadly a member of covers gets stalked and bashed on for posting his picks.

Don't overthink this game.  They took care of the Jets on the road with Cassell at QB and now they will do the same at home.  Favre is a mistake prone gunslinger and that is something that is very dangerous when you are facing the New England D.

starting to rain up here... its about 330..... field doesn't really get that wet anymore so i dont think it will affect the outcome...

I am a Pats fan as well.  Losing Thomas is huge but then again Farve is still gonna throw a pick or 2 or 3.  Cassel is starting to looking like a pro more and more.  Running game is starting to come back for the Pats too even with all the injuries.  Turnovers from Farve will be the deciding outcome for this game. Jones may have a score and 95 yds running.  NOT just cuz i am a pats fan.... but...

  You're right Fpronk I don't know you at all.  However, just from I see you writing on here and saying how you pick so much better than everyone makes me think you belong on a different thread.  I'm not doubting you make good picks and have respect of others but from the very 1st thread I posted on here it seems like your an egotisitic glory hog.  We all win and lose man....thats gambling for ya.  My pick on this game is the Jets to cover and +3.5 and after looking at break a bookies thread and video I like the under 2.  Lets get back to the game rather than the name calling.....who do you like?

Count me out of the JETS +3.5....... I believe that will happen... but I am a JET fan so don't listen to my side analysis cause it is biased.... but I feel strong about the UNDER

Wow 41 eh.  What book are you using Fpronk?  Most have it at 41.5 or 42.  I think it's possible to have a 20-17 score.  I'm with you on the Jets to cover +3.5 and debating on perhaps a ml play.  Both D's can stop the run with the Jets having the 5th best run D at 76 ypg.  NE is also quite capable of stopping the run.  I'm wondering how well Ty Law will play for the Jets.  Anyways, I think this game will come down to the QB play and....I'll take Favre over Cassell anyday.  Gl to all!
