Snow is forecast for the game. Cold wind blowing down from the Great Lakes. The ball will be as hard as a rock, so receivers will be having a hell of a time catching the ball. Therefore, this should be a running matchup and a quick game. Teasing this game might be the best bet.
Cleveland +16 and under 39
I SAW 60% CHANCE OF SNOW SHOWERS....BUT I HAVE SEEN TEAMS SCORE IN SNOW .....RAIDERS/DENVER,,,,PATS/TENN PATS/ARIZONA....QUINN HAS NOT GIVEN UP AN INTERCEPTION IN 3 GAMES..HE IS PLAYING CONSERVATIVE AND SMART...GL

Tenn 0 - NE 59 and I can't find the Oak/Den game you're referring to. I can see your point about being able to score in bad weather. Perhaps I should change the teaser to Cleveland +16 and over 27. Pittsburgh is in a must win situation to get into the playoffs and Cleveland is playing for pride.

If you are somehow that feels that the weather,be it snow, gusty winds or even rain will be the determining factor in the outcome of the total points scored within this match or any match at that..For one, please refer to the Pats-Titans match earlier this season where blow dryers were the fashion..Yet one team put up 59 points..Go Figure..Now not to say that the over is the bet in this situation, far from it, however football should always be the premise of one`s capping. So if you are relying on Al Rokers` view or a blonde in a short skirt determining the outcome of your wagers, let me tell you now... you`re in serious trouble.. That said.. Pittsburgh are starting to implode rapidly..After all, losing at home to the Faders is never on any teams menu, let alone the defending Champs..I reckon Dixon would probably do a better job than Rothy at the moment cause he is young and does not carry the same relationship scars as the one`s that seem to be surfacing for Ben... Browns played well last week against the Chargers but were always outclassed...Same could go again here, however they are keeping the turnovers to a minimum and Quinn is starting to take to the role of starter, seemingly getting better with each snap..Their D has played reasonably well in their last few outings, excluding giving up 38 to the lowly Lions in Detroit. They did give up 16 on the road to the in form Bengals recently which is a positive..If The Steelers thump the Browns then it is only a glitch on the radar..However if the Browns push them all the way irrespective of the result, it would be all lights for Pittsburgh in my opine...I reckon it`s the latter and that the Steelers have lost their swagger for this year anyways..Home pup with the points for mine. With CJ again BROWNS +10

Browns already weak running game is going to be even worse, since harrison has been sick all week. Without a veteran running back like jamal lewis to atleast secure the ball, I can see cleveland turning the ball over 4+ times via INTs or fumbles. Everyone knows that turnovers Usually lead to points, and with a total at 32, I think over is the play.

I was thinking of teasing the pts down to 22.5 in a parlay bet but i am afraid of a 10-6 or 12-10 game.

I dont post often but let me say this:
On Monday Night Football on Nov 5th 2007 @ Heinz Field vs. Baltimore.........In a game that saw 3 inches of snow.....Big Ben threw for 5 TD's in the first half......I would have bet the house on the under......Ben sat out most of the second half and the final score was 38-7.....Baltimore couldn't get out of their own way......THE KEY IS TURNOVERS.....with Quinn behing center you're going to see more than a few.....
P.S. 3 weeks later on MNF again Pitt beat Miami 3-0......go figure

Guys its not the snow that is going to be a problem tonight, its the WIND. I have family in that area and I have heard first hand that this morning there was wind so strong the trees looked like they were going to come down. They are predicting 35mph winds at game time tonight. Look for a strong dose of Mendenhall all game long. The Browns can not run the ball and the Steelers can stop the run. What do you think is going to happen if the winds are that strong and neither team can throw the ball?? The Browns will be lucky to score at all in that kind of game......
Steelers 21 Browns 0
Steelers -10
6.5 pt teaser Steelers -3.5 Under 39.5
Good luck tonight everyone

some of you dudes are making this way more difficult than it needs to be. Cleveland is awful. Pittsburgh is not. The weather is worthy of some attention, especially considering the big number. But look at the over all stats and where these teams rank in all of the important categories. With weather not being a factor these two teams play 10 times, Pitt would win by more than 10 atleast 7 out of 10 times. That being said, I'll take my chances anytime I feel like I can get my money in a 70% spot. Good luck.

Exactly, Coverdatspread- I'm actually here in Cleveland for this game. (Road trip-Cin/Pitt Saturday, Oakland/ Pittsburgh Sun, Tonights game). We're getting gusts to 50 mph and the wind chill is 1 degree. Snow is supposed to be on the way but it won't matter. If 20 points are scored I'lll be shocked.
UNDER!!!!!!!!!!!

At this point in the season, the Chargers are a better team than the Steelers and the Browns covered against the Chargers last weekend (fucked me too). Plus Browns are better ATS than the Steelers. That said, no play for WRECKED 'EM

How did Cleveland get two Monday night games this year? The last time they played Monday, they couldn't score against Baltimore at home and lost 16-0. Cleveland is a horrible team. Turnovers will determine if you win the ca$h tonight. Vegas is laughing hard right now because they know you'll take the points.

The NFL needs to thoroughly examine just what teams they're putting in for Thursday night next year. There hasn't been ONE intriguing matchup all season.
Cleveland has no depth whatsoever. Admittedly, Pittsburgh is coming in nearly as banged up. The Steelers will find a way to win and cover. Yes, the Browns are long overdue, with that mere win, yet nothing is frightening with what they place on the field. No intangibles, save for being at home. Yet, the series has gone close game in Cleveland, then blowout. With last season being the close game, this might prove to be somewhere near a thrashing, even with 25 mph winds.
Quinn isn't for real. This will be yet another sorry Thursday night contest, where most tuning in will be alternating between network prime-time crime drama, and the last resort which is this game.
Pittsburgh 24, Cleveland 7
Whenever I see an Over/Under dip that low (shrinking another 3, to 34.5) it typically follows to achieving the Under.

Just took the Browns +10 and Under 33. The wind is the killer. It is brutal outside now & will be worse by the lake tonight. There will be more Steelers fans there than Browns fans so home field not so important. Turnovers at the wrong end of the field could push this over, but my guess is the final is something stupid like 7-0 or 10-3.

Browns Straight up on the ML. Pittsburg has lost the motivation to win and their seems to be fingerpointing among the players. 33 points is a very low total. Break down 4 TDs some field goals. Football in this division is always played in the cold and if the Steelers want to get to the playoffs they will put it all on the line.

I've mostly bet against my favorite team all year and it has worked out so far. Steelers NEVER cover as a double digit favorite. But here's what we know:
1) Browns will struggle score even if Polamalu is out because weather makes it tough for any team to throw and Steelers run D is tops.
2) Shaun Rodgers is out and starting left DE, Kenyon Coleman is doubtful, meaning less double teams by Steelers O-line and Mendenhall will find room even against an 8 man front.
3) Steelers missing big play potential with Polamalu out to say the least in secondary, but even without Aaron Smith the Steelers D only giving up 83 yards rushing per game in last 5 contests. But the key tonight really IS the weather..... Brady will only have a chance to be successful with the quick pass plays and that's where Dick LeBeau will put the Steelers D in position to create batted balls, fumbles, INTs because of the zone blitz scheme.
4) The clock will be churning up fast. How could you not like the under with these 2 teams in these elements? I do worry without Ward that the running game for Steelers lacks those long run play potential because of his blocking at the WR position. Look for Steelers to dominate time of position though.
5) Most importantly, Big Ben has yet to lose to the Browns in his career.
Final score: Steelers 20-7 (Steelers -10/Under 33) Also like a 2 team teaser: Browns +16 with under 39
