This what I see in this matchup. The most obvious statistic that stood out was the average times per game that the 49ers Offensive Line let their QB get sacked. In the last 5 games win or lose, an average of 3.5 times per game for an average -3 yards per sack. They are now going against a defense that ranks #1 in pass rush and yards per game. #4 against the Rush. Those are impressive #s. They are ranked very similar on the other side of the ball as well, but most importantly, they have had to stay home, on their field which is huge on a short week. That is 1.5 more days to prepare well for your opponent. At this time of the season, all the information such as plays and formations of each team has been taped and can be analyzed by both the Offensive and Defensive Coordinator. EVERYTHING IS OUT OF THE BAG. The men behind the seen for San Diego are one of the best squad in the League. To top it all off, Phillip Rivers is heating up and when he does, it gives his Defense more time to rest and recover. Look at one of the best Defense in the Ravens on Monday Night. Yes they won, but they sure looked very tired. I see a BLOWOUT and I will ride it hard.

This one is a no brainer. This 49er team is soft and they only beat up on bad teams. They have not beaten a quality or playoff opponent. They arent going to win the division either. San Diego in the driver seat for their division as we saw what KC looks like without a qb! San Diego and ov for the large!

SF +9 (1unit): the bolts have the better D and better QB, but the niners appear to be surging.
No offense Willie, but one win against the seahawks at home should hardly be considered "surging". The only thing that scares me is that Vegas knows people wanna pile up on SD...wonder if they are setting us up ....

I don't feel the 49ers are built to go score for score but more of a ground and pound grind up the clock to keep the games within reach... They did however light up the scoreboard this past weekend but I cannot see them doing the same against the Chargers.

I don't feel the 49ers are built to go score for score but more of a ground and pound grind up the clock to keep the games within reach... They did however light up the scoreboard this past weekend but I cannot see them doing the same against the Chargers.

Short week, lots of traveling, and a QB that is still not settled. No frank Gore and playing a Defense ranked #1 against the pass. 8 -10 points will not be enough. Do not fall for the points cause they might not even score a TD.

i had those same chargers -13 at home against raiders and lost. took philly -3 versus Dallas and bought the .5 point, thank God!! Thankfully had G-Men over hapless Yikes on MNF and bought down to 3 and did not need to. be careful with the first half bet.... SF has a Kick Returner threat and you know him well.... Ted Ginn Jr..... I would take a look at the tendencies of SD with regards to the coin toss.... if they take the ball first then the first half looks good.... if they defer which defensive teams do, then I would be careful with that bet.
SD special teams is atroucious.... Ted Ginn can run back the opening kickoff and then you have 7 points + the first half line...
I like SD for the game....
I'm laying the 9.5 points with confidence....
