Lovie* is def not on the hot seat. Has a year left on his contract, There is a lot of coaches out there that wish they were 11-5 with a bye. He is a players coach, so since they are playing well there is NO reason to think that he won't be back. I'd say its a 98% chance he is back...if/when we win Sunday it goes to 100%

Interesting stuff...No doubt bunch of teams wish to have 11-5 record but correct me if I'm wrong, Smith is one of the highest paid coaches in the NFL with little to show for in last 3 years ,missing playoffs . Heard some news that Bears ownership would not commit to Smith coming back next year till season's end hence hot seat.IMO Bears have been inconsistent this year and always wondered with Smith's lack of emotions how he manages to motivate players n'  team out of inconsistencies. Ditka was quoted praising Smith for playing all out vs. Packers but where was the offense ? Where was offense vs Pats ( though crappy conditions except for NE lol) 
Just wondering if Bears will play all out offensively to bring Smith back.No excuse,they should make huge statement vs weak Shawks D lightin' up scoreboard .But does winning vs lowly road Shawks really validate anything for Smith's cause ?

    No shot for the seabags here on the road in chicago , yes i am a huge bears fan but if i was'nt ,  my opinion on the game would not change. Chicago wins this game without question and if they don't i guess i'll look very stupid but just cannot see it in any shape or form. The bears did not earn the # 2 seed to face a shit team like seattle on the're home turf to lose , i don't care that the hawks beat the saints last week to shock most of the world , it will not happen twice especially on the road where this team is one of the worst , i see a high scoring game i definately love the over 41. 5 i think cutler and forte have field days and put up huge numbers , imo the bears rout them i don;t care about what happened in week 6 this is the playoffs and the hawks will be playing they're last game period.  Bears 34-17

      Seattle has only stayed within 10 points on the road twice out of 8 times this season.  One of those times being at Chicago, but they were coming off of their bye week in that one.  The other was at Arizona (nuff said).

    I had Seattle + the points last week, and took them ML on a four team ML teaser (of which I went 4/4 ).  Last week was the perfect storm for them.  Not supposed to be there, home game at the loudest outdoor stadium in the NFL, yada yada yada.   I tip my hat to Pete Carroll for having them motivated and ready to play versus NO, but lets be honest.......you or I could have motivated them to get up for that game.

    Seattle won their Super Bowl last week.  Now its back to reality.  This time, its Da Bears who have an extra week to prepare.

    Oh I completely agree with you, I'm kind of indifferent on him, like I would assume most of the players are. With that being said, hes easy going, has gone to a superbowl with Rex, and is currently sitting at 11-5 so thats definitely in his favor. The way I understood it was, that the press conference just meant, that they will evaluate Lovie after the year because if they gave him and extension during the bye week and they came out sunday and lost, he'd look stupid. atleast a month from now if he gets an extension, Angelo has leverage and can say to the Mccaskey's, well we were 7-9 last season when Lovie was on the hot seat we brought him back, WE(me and Lovie) signed Julius Peppers and Chris Harris, we drafted Damon Moore, Corey Wooten, and Major Wright... if you keep Lovie you have to keep me.

    Seattle seems to have an answer for this team.  It's all about matchups.  And scenarios.  Gonna be cold in Chicago, projected 11 degrees, that -25 up north in CDN.  This ain't a bag thing for Seattle they play outdoors, yes they played and won in Chi-town in October, but that's still colder than the weather in Seattle in October.  So the weather shouldn't affect this team.  Shawks play out doors too and they are riding moment.  If anything, a Chicago offense taking a week off now having to play in shitty conditions is bad for consistent and effective play.

    K Hester.... f*ck Hester.  Leon Washington had 3 returns for TD this season.  His skills are just as good at this point in the season and has the potential to make plays just like DH. And John Ryan (the Canadian!!!) has one of the best legs in the league, been kicking footballs in windy ass Canada since he was at Sheldon Williams Collegiate in Regina, Saskatchewan.  Area code "306". 

    So, what does this all mean?

    Seattle keeping it close by getting off to an early lead.  Chicago will prevail but 10pts is too much for a team that has a schizophrenic QB and coach on the hot seat.  Pressure's all on the Bears to get a win.  Seattle has nothing to lose and they'll play like it.

    Bears vs Seattle game could either go down to the wire...

    OR 

    Bears roll this Seattle team.

    Seattle is not that great. Saints without 2 of their best running backs.. maybe even 3 (thomas, bush, ivory) 

    Any team can lose if they are 1-D

    BEARS Defense will win this game for sure and Company of the Offense 2half.

    this is what im thinking right now.. my bet my be teasing 2 games.. bears and pats.

    i got lucky and hit both the steelers -3 and pack +1 tonight.  I like both dogs tomorrow.  I know the bears should blow them out but just say if seattle runs opening kickoff back or score first?  I'd rather take a swift kick to the balls bc it sucks...Plus the bears could be up 14 at half and play conservative 2nd half and seattle could end up covering

    true story BV.  with hester and bears D there could always be quick scores.  GL  man being a VIKES fan i hate the BEARS and would rather see Rodgers win than Cutler.  Also it would be funny to have a 7-9 team host NFC championship
