Wow I've been paying so much attention to college ball, i forgot about the NFL. At first glance, i like Pitt, but the line is now -6. If it hits 7, I will take Tenn or lay off.

like the under here... lean on titans... look for a low scoring game where TN will pound the rock and control the clock all game long... between Johnson, white, and throw in rookie ringer in there, TN will be able to control the clock... collin rarely make mistakes so turnovers won't be too much of a concern... people aren't respecting TN defence due to the lost of Haynesworth, but everyone forgets that TN def played pretty well with jones in there last year when haynesworth was out with the injuries... plus they got some pretty good corners and safety..
I see pits pounding the ball also, due to that fact that Big Ben been out much of the preseason... another reason to try to control the clock and let their stength, that D shine...
to make it short,.. two teams looking to pound the ball, control the clock, and two great D, plus division game.. makes for a low close game...
TN pulls one out on a bironas FG.. 13-10...

I think Pit is the play in this revenge situation. Remember the terrible towel stomping. Plus, Thursday night openers have been good to the home teams. Pit had the number two run defense a year ago so I don't expect Ten to run all over them as they did last year. Collins is a good qb as long as he doesnt have to win the game by himself.

Pit should win here but I dont know about covering 6 points. Tenessee is a good team. solid D and can run. Very similiar to Pittsburgh. I dont normally bet on my teams game but if I was going to I would bet on Ten +6. I also like the over. Both teams will score more than 17, which puts it over..
Prediction Pit 23 - Ten 20.

Last year 13 opening day games went Over total of 35 pts (1 was 34). Opening day Off. & Def. mistakes, misreads, mismatches, etc. = points. (unless teams are completely incompetnet as were the Skins/Giants, Balt/Cin, KC/NE) Over 35 seems right here.
